just for saying: by following the bid charts is complete stupid with this strategy to find out history trades. with this strategy you could easy calculate billions win in backtesting or trading demoaccount with small spreads.
because the strategy start in rollover time, so there is always extrem move in bid chart in short time because of spread widening, but this move was untradeable in real account or with extrem smaller numbers because of high spread but in backtest or demo (with fix spread or not widen spreads extrem) can produce extrem wins same time (depends on broker) because can go out and in easy with a small spread.

if quick jump is a news, then quick jump is account margin call. there are often unknown news in this 2 hours after usa closing, to secure the usa stock market for hard moves , bigger news are done after market is closed. in last time often korea is starting missiles in this time too. gbpusd had extrem move in this time in last months because of brexit. trump speaks had hard moves in this time from time to time. so a quick jump is because there was a news and price will go fast further to correct price to the news, or the prices was not by news and just normal by market ask bid order driven in this area, then it can go back or not, depends how market was done in this area.

i dont know if here is traded without a stoploss, but stoploss will hit sometimes or in some month very often. alone usdchf had hard move in koreas missiles last time, where price did not come back for many pips. sounds risky strategy for me.

I think what Cemil is saying is ...while watching the 1 minute chart in the specified time slot the bid and ask lines will be close together and price will be moving slowly, then suddenly the bid or ask line will jump away from one another and we trade the movement of what ever line moved, back to the other line. Or do we trade the movement of the line that didn't move back to the line that did move?

in your screen every trade has a take profit, it means you already know where to exit the trade. Would you like to share this information?
And why are you using offline chart for m1?

i actually dont know what it is.

i am not trading the difference between ask and bid price.

usd/chf is not tradeable most of the time because of wide spreads on broker. and very careful about gbp-usd.

i am getting engaged today

i will try to explain on chart later on.

actually i started if i can learn something or some forex guru can show me a way how my trades could be calculated and what are those horizontal lines for.

I think those horizontal lines in your screenshot is Bid ans Ask price.
White Line is current Bid, Red Line is current Ask, Green Number in between is current spread.
Those lines and spread number would change whenever a new tick prompts.

I think if you were trading a large account and depending on your broker, you would be stopped from trading like this. What you are basically trading is the daily fix, when swap is added/deducted. The spreads are manipulated at this time, you only have to sit and watch it to see that.

If the spreads widen and the market jumps, your fading it on the expectation that the spreads will go back to normal and the market price will go back down. I can imagine this is very profitable, but I would be very surprised if you can scale it up to a large amount.

Many years ago I was banned from FXCM for trading News spikes when the prices were off, and it was costing FXCM a lot of money as they weren't real prices. I think you will have the same issue here, as the prices are not real, they are manipulated and totally false.

Hi cemilfx, congratulations on the engagement. How is it possible to trade several pairs in that fast moving scenario? Did you automate it or is it just quick fingers/eyes?

No automation. Any ea will fail to my point of view.

You trade 1 pair at a time. But watch them all. After some time your eyes catch them very quick.

The market is nit fast moving in this period. Its veeeery slow. You just trade jumps.

Thanks for the info. But is it practical always? Because mostly during this time the spreads are unreasonably high.

Looks interesting, certainly worth further analysis but with such high lot sizes you better be in the right direction or you'll get your ass kicked.

I will share what i have been doing to solve it. Maybe its just in front of me or maybe its more complex then i think.

What i think is, there is a price. Real price. Within a range. Any jumps away from that range is a tradeable jump. Thats why i tried to analyze wrm london fix.

My biggest strugle is i dont have the exact same broker history so i cant find out at which prices those horizontal lines are drawn (not bid and ask lime of course)

I sent them an email to provide me their 1min history.

Again i started this trade if someone can come up with ideas why this is happening. I will test every idea here and come up with results.

pls forget sell limit buy limit. those were the times i was thinking if the price jumps there again veeery quick i will be in trade. as you can see none of them are triggered.

other people do not use sell limit buy limit at all.

on trading hours; its that 1 hours daily break of xau-usd. 1 hour after usa close until australia open.

spreads are quite big on some pairs even bigger on some brokers. but believe me its tradeable. i did it for months.

you cant blow your account because lets say if you think its a jump, u enter trade, then i didnt come back. just get out. it may come back 5min later or it wont. before australia open that is. since the market is slow you cant blow your account. check out my losses. 3-4 lots and losses are small.

In my understanding, Forex Spot market is tied to Forex Futures. During the "Fix time", (after NY close) the Futures Market suspends trading. I "think" the actual time it is closed is 17:30 to 17:45 NY.

During 17:00 to 18:30, spreads on US brokers, tend to be much higher then other times.

Even though Forex Spot market remains open during "Fix" time, brokers, in effect, are guessing where prices will be adjusted to.

If I have any of this wrong, I apologize.
