Hi MathTrader7, i see that you have the ea for "Lets Automate a Simple Renko Strategy!". Im usin manualy thsi strat, and try ussing your EA for it but nothing happen. no position are open sinse 3 days, can you help me?

Hello MathTrader7, first, sorry my english. I'm liking very much your EAs,
I'm developing a strategy based on renko charts and one of your
EAs almost combined with the strategy.

I'd like to ask you, if you can enable the MathTrader7_RenkoEA.ex4 (Versino 3.36) to run
in the renkolivechart_v600_indi.mq4.

I'll be very grateful for this.

Dear MT7 or some one with code skills
I would like to share a indi which is a real value. Over six months trading with constant profit applied on Renko chart 60 bricks size pairs ( EUR/USD and GBP/JPY ). Thus it has not coded alarm, email alert which is a really boring to be at all time in front of the monitor. Therefore kindly asking to add mentioned above but real deal would be EA with simple rules.

  1. Open sell when red pop up on close bar ( close trade when pop up opposite signal is shown )
  2. Open buy when turquoise pop up on close bar ( close trade when pop up opposite signal is shown )

Sometimes when the market goes side way without trend I`m using multiple with coefficient 1.3 once upon I had positive outcome I will start with starting the lot. But it is not much necessary. For better presentation what I have to say I would be attached 2 a pictures one with vertical lines other without.

i dont want to open files ofline chat select m2 chat bla bla

A wrapper 4 the indi....maybe i ll code filter so this is the perfect way 4 me!

My problem was resolved. The version 2.99 of the Ea, run very well in the indicator.

if you coding EA should be trailing stop 20 pips

I have tried the EA NLD that you made, but I have a problem with your EA when I use it on another renko chart (not your artificial renko), can I use your EA on another REnko chart, besides your Renko. and if you have time, is it possible that your EA NLD has a Filter from Semaphor, so the OP will occur after there is signal from semafor and the color-changing of NLD signal.

I am trying to install the RenkoVdubEA, but I am receiving always the same message:
"Please attach the EA to a non-gap Renko chart!
You can download a non-gap builder from...."

I have tried with a mt4 1090 and 1010 (I am using MathTrader7_REnkoChartCreatorEA, so no reason to say that)

In Experts appears the error: "Mathtrader7_RenkoVdubEA usdjpy.m2: inicialization failed (65535)

Could it be possible that you implement the EA for these other mt4? Or maybe a more global code... I never had problems with the different mt4 versions until now. It is frustrating to try and try but no way to work with this EA which seems to be great!

Both VdubEa and my Renko creator Ea need to be recompiled. I will post new versions, but now I am busy with some other projects.

Here is an example of my renko chart. I manually trade this cause I'm still playing with how to code. 10 pip boxes. Currently use STG Renko. I've learned so much over the years being a member of FF. I've taken a lot of other peoples hard work and put it use successfully. I don't post comments often if at all but Renko charts have changed my life and the attached is what I use. All indicator are from here. I thank all the coders who have created the indicators I use and this is my way trying to give back by showing a copy of what works . . . consistently. If somehow, it can become an EA and help others, then I am glad I posted it and again thank you to the coders that create such awesome work!!

I use following indicators and it very good.

PVSRA
BN Levels
Super Signals Channel Alert
Super Signal v3fd
SSL fast channel mtf alerts +arrows
pz lopez trend
GMTS Matrix and Tape (3 bar alert)

Pink lines show my entries. my entries are only considered after the red/green circle alert. Renko must close above or below 20 period MVA which is linear weighted.

One request from my end: When you get a chance, could you upload the indicators and template that you use. {I want to be on the same page, there could be different versions of the indi's in other posts}

Hi Mathtrader,

Two questions for you:

  1. I've been running for Renko EA v3.36 on a demo account, and I've noticed its not taking any short trades. Checked the settings, allowed both long and short positions. I'm using both a fixed stop and a trailing stop, as well as the moving average indicators (no stochastics). Price action (2 red bars close) is below both moving averages, and the fast MA is below the slow MA.
  2. I'm also working on my own renko based EA, and was wondering how you coded your close on opposite candle. Currently I have my EA close long when Close[1]<Open[1] but it seems to be closing my trades prematurely. For example, after forming a new bar, price goes lower, but not low enough to draw a red candle. During that pullback, my EA thinks the candle is red and closes the trade. Should I be using another method code the close?
