Hi, Getting used to this a bit now, It's very useful for people to post their trades , so I can look at how they are executed. Most seem to be drilling down to the 5 min chart for triggers,. Is there any rule about how many pips the trigger bar opens into the area of interest. ie is there a minimum recommended or has there a conclusion been drawn by anyone as to the margin Thanks

It's all covered in the rules and MichaelG's pdf.

Is it mentioned in either of those places that we wait for a set number of pips into the area of interest?

such as smHiLo Open Lines v1.2 ?

Do i need to read thru from page 1 to page 587?

How can i draw 5M, 15M, 60M candles in one chart?
for exaple, on 5M chart, 15M candle is drawn over 3 candles of 5M candle with thick box.
and in the same way, 60M candle is drawn over 12 candles of 5M candle with dashed box.

Hello everybody,

when i apply the smHiLoOpen Lines_v1.2 indicator to the dax (german30) chart, the hourly higher and lower open are not displayed. on the forex charts it is displayed. can somebody fix that? thanks and regards!

I know. It's always been like this.

It's the same on the F40, UK100 and Swiss20 but works on OIL, Gold, US500, US30 and the Dollar Index.

Even on those where the H1 levels show, if you drop to the m15 and m5, you will find it often doesn't print properly there either.

It's no doubt to do with how the data is read on the indices etc. Similar things happen with other indicators - SweetSpots etc - and may well be fixable but I haven't bothered trying.
