I guess forex trading allows us to make some good returns on our investments however it would be better if we should diversify our funds just to ensure the funds safety.

-trade no margin for each trade.
-trade more than one market. helps from creating a bias
-dont use stops
-dont buy when near new highs and sell when on lows
- know exactly how much each market is likely to move in a day and weekly range.
- never let a single losing trade reach 1% of total account.

It does not depend on how much you want to win. The amount depends on how much you are willing to lose.
One thing I know for sure is that a deposit of less than 1000USD will only take up your time. Even if you win, it will be a cheap job and a lot of wasted nerves. You must first provide yourself with the opportunity to spend 10k USD on forex and do not experience any problems at the same time.

It is totally dependent on the individual. It depends on the maximum amount you want to earn as a profit or the minimum amount which you can afford to lose.

I have around a 5-6 hundred dollar account I have just started out with the strategy I have created so far I plan to be able to make a couple hundred a month and will continue to add more funds to my account when I have spare funds.
