Pseudologia fantastica, also known as pathological lying or "mythomania," is the phenomenon of habitual or compulsive lying (either verbally or in writing) which was first described in medical literature in 1891 by Anton Delbruck. It is a controversial diagnosis because the subject often doesn't stand to gain anything from lying. The paradoxical thing about compulsive lying is that the subject may or may not know that they are lying although it is possible sometimes that a person may be lying to make their own life appear to be more exciting than it really is.

Mythomania, or pseudologia fantastica is a psychiatric disorder. Affected individuals subconsciously seek refuge in lies in order to escape their reality. These individuals are called mythomaniacs, and are often not aware they are lying, unable to tell the difference between the truth and their own fantasies. Pseudologia fantastica often originates from psychological trauma or a psychiatric disease. Through consultation with a psychiatrist or psychologist, it is possible to heal this condition, although afflicted individuals are all too often unaware of their disorder.

It starts with first trade especially on new traders.. Lets see analyze FF A bit and lets be very objective whether people lie and they trust to their own fantasies.

I love this thread.... every trader and forum poster has lied atleast once in their life time, some lie every day, some lie after every buy/sell action, most are just hopeless chronic lairs. Most are disillusioned and hardwired/brainwashed by junk they read and then spread on such forums like "Learn to accept losses","keep risk small", "put SL above this level", "Keep blowing accounts, use high risk and keep money safe with bank". The list is endless!

Humans disrespect stupidity - probably due low survivability - those who were stupid were dying off in ancient times.
And megalomaniacs try to survive and move forward without any closed loops of stupidity so disrespected by human nature.

The real "smart" ones are the guys who came here with just few posts and instantly attracted a significant following. They just know how to leverage the "Follow-the-Follower" herd mentality in social media. Nowadays, even elections are won (hacked!) this way LOL

YOu dont think with all this money on the markets the place will and is full of lies, deceit, corruption, and turmoil, just look at any chart and it is set up to fool you fail you and steal all your money and they tell you its there for you to make money .. only the strong survive and then they get to lie even more than the others. Remember now your BROKER is your best friend there to look after you and take care of your money ..
