looking like a decisive bullish close on the 4 hour tf in 30 mins. time...will look for longs probably tomorrow morning if I get this confirmation and price closes above the 200 ema today

I have never measured it that way...of course for any scalp to work you need low spreads for a start. I like simple things and apply to my trading ,,no complicated computer stuff as I am tech dumbed..some traders say moving averages don't work..it's because they do not know how to use them...just like I have a very unique way of looking at the pac of which Dean Malone will probably prove I am using it wrongly 100 times over, so I am keeping this a secret..I don't use it now as there are many other ways to tell when a trend is probably retracing/reversing

hi Helee, are you trading the 15 min tf?..I made the switch to 5 min tf just recently..hope you're not disappointed..I hope to entice fellow trader pipsninja to share his 5 min tf trading with me and others..he's a specialist with immense skill on this tf

Hi Pips29,

Naaa, i tried M5 but is too fakey to me.. now changed to M30 mainly but look at H1/H4.

You doing well, keep up.

I still dont have the guts to take any trade... still think a lot and worry far too much.

But i do like you, go for daily target minimum of 20 pips... seems t help a lot.

Helee, m5 is good for 10 pips and above whether it's trend following or catching a retracement..taking 10 pips with 5 trades will get you 50 pips which is my daily "food" intake..anyway use the time frame you're comfortable with is more important..fyi, I started my trading with m5 many moons ago but was not successful then..after going thru' the school of hard knocks I am now able to trade most time frames as the essence of profitable trades do not lie in the timeframes but on what the chart is telling you on the chosen time frame...just my 2 cents

Had many hard knocks, on LTF´s that´s why changed to M30 and above..

Hi Pips took my first trades yesterday and one today 2 wins one loss today. On the loss can you give some feedback pls? 10 ema dash all south + below h1 h4 34 looked like some space for a move lower, but I forgot to check the div that now hits me in the face..

just looking at your trade I don't see much wrong with it..I would not have taken this trade as my bias is long after looking at the slope of the mbl on the daily. I mentioned this in Likica's thread and I do not go short the loonie when I am short the aussie or kiwi..I am using the 5 min chart and I guess you have taken this trade on the 15 min...like you said there was +ve divergence on both m30 and H1 too..I have the tdi on my charts to spot divergence and take the trades with the cci..incidentally it would be helpful if you have the cci according to mine ..it makes reading easier...here is the loonie on my chart on the 15 min tf

I am really disappointed with this trade though both ended in green pips..it was not how I wanted it to be played out..after posting the first entry the lady boss of the house asked meout and I had to leave almost immediately..I set a target and left..when I came back my stop was hit but my momentum was lost but I somehow got into another entry but took it out too early as I lost the feel..I am gutted...I get very annoyed when my focus is broken especially when I had this in mind from yesterday

thanks, when you say your bias is long after looking at mbl on daily, mine looks to be still downward sloping?
