my chart for the near and medium term

New Zealand general election is on September 23, 2017 so this pair might fluctuate in a tight range before a decisive breakout

It seems that price broke h1 & h4 support. For now, I'll be watching D1 support @1.09.
Because the uptrend still intact in D1 and W1 TF, it safe to wait and see if price broke D1 defense line and D1 support.
And if price do broke that defense, wait for D1 resistance and if D1 resistance lies below the defense line, I do believe that "winter has come"

It seems that D1 defense line kick back, but still has room in H4 for down, before resume uptrend.
around 1.102 might be critical area to audnzd.

but remember, in D1 and W1 time frame, audnzd still in the uptrend

but it looks like its on the money....

AUD rising against USD and so is NZD yet AUD falling against NZD..

this pair is on corrective phase ,the original trend is uptrend ,so it is on 50% ,it would move upwards ? how about news due on Thursday?

50% would be 1.086. It could create the handle to 618 where there is more support...... 1.080

Closed some shorts at 1.100 looking for an opportunity to re-enter

It seems that D1 defense line has been breach, but support @1.09 hold the bears. In H4 TF, bears still in control. Unless 1.09934 (d1 lowest price) hold, we can see some bears action again before price resume some uptrend.

considering that D1 defense line has been broken once and price in overbought zone, maybe the uptrend show some sign that reverse trend begin to reveal.

nzd begin to fall and aud looks like gonna break current high.
In daily chart, aud still in bullish zone, but showing sign as an exhausting trend.
1.133xx mark as untested resistance in monthly chart

price now hanging in D1 pivot @1.09 and have strong support, but in daily TF show that defense line and range line has been broken.
I now wait for D1 resistance. If resistance lies below the defense line, Its a great chance that price will go down again.

My new target is 1.083, will close all shorts there and start looking for longs from 1.080.
but need to close before election results on saturday. NZD will shoot up on a national win .... or down on a close labour / coalition win.

The next hour will show where NZD is headed on opening, as a result of the election.
Either way there will be a gap.....it will be to late to enter a trade to ride the reaction...better to fade the inevitable market overreaction.
