I use the 8.5 version.

I only change the inputs for visual changes to the colors I like. I just put the indicator on the chart and then check different time frames, and change the zig zag settings to fit any potential waves. Just play around with the indicator to see what works for you.

Great... thanks mate, definitely would try your tecnique... your indicator attached is really helpful... but how can i determine that the setup drawn by EA is not valid anymore? iam using version 9.7.2... sorry iam still newbie

is the first time i use an indicator for the wolfe waves, and i think it s great, but the problem is that all versions block the platform when i change to a small tf like 5m or 15m. Is there a solution or a smallest version of this indicator?

Welcome to Forex factory and welcome to this thread!

You can move the position of the indicator on your chart by changing the x-y values under the input tabs as shown below

Hello there everyone!

I just recently stumbled upon Wolfe Waves and find them fascinating. Also in search of information about Wolfe Waves I came across this thread and I really like what I've read so far. A big thank you to all those who contribute to this great thread, especially to Expo33 for all his work here.

I'm already trying to find some WW. So far I stumbled across the AUDCAD daily and I think there could be a WW building up. What do you guys think about it?

In the area of the sweet zone seems to be at least some kind of area of support, if you look at the weekly chart.

I'm curious what you guys think about it.

What I also want to ask is, if it's still a valid WW even if it takes a long time till price hits EPA? Like in the example below. I guess a good entry would have been after the pinbar marked with the red arrow.

I'm currently trading USDCHF. I didn't get a good entry, but if it hits XC-extension I'm happy. So far it's doing well.

Possible WW just reached the sweet zone. Now I'm waiting for an entry.

I'm currently trying my luck with trading EURJPY M10. I did see this a bit late, but as of now there is around a 1:2 RRR if EPA is reached.

Possible WW evolving in the German DAX M30. Although I'm not sure if this is a valid one. Anyway, price already entered the sweet zone, but CD is still substantially shorter than AB so I guess it's not yet time to enter.

Hi Knurren.

This isn't a Wolfe wave. For a bearish WW points B and D would need to be making higher highs
