If you mean by "reverse" that the EA will automatically reverse if it hits SL (or TP) ?
Has been tried before, those folks are now all bankrupt.

Will try/test this combo H4/H1 for holding positions longer...without refreshing indi too often

Hi Guys,

Can somebody help me I have tried to load all the latest indicator, Templates and EA to respective folder. Tried to follow FXM instruction on post #1 but after pressing Lock button and BSK shows some thing different. I have attached to screen shots of it. I don't see basket is generated. I am doing something wrong.. your help is appreciated.

I think you forget to set the Hot-Key ALT+H on the FXM_Writer indicator.

Click right on the indicator and select Set Hotkey.

also after you set hotkey click close on you mt4 then open it again.so the hotkey will remain set,otherwise if any accidental crash/close mt4 happen hotkey is reset to none.

Congrats man, you did it with your system. You are the man. Am following the system with hawk eye. Though I don't understand fully(50%), how the whole system works, I know very soon I'll get the hang of it. If you can give a few tips once in a while, that will also be appreciated. Wishing you all the best in your efforts. Thanks so much for giving us the privilege.

Hi Fxm,

Thanks for prompt reply. As your instruction I did the hotkey - alt+H on writer indi but i will do it again if you say so. Also do you want me to restart the PC as Husky says..

not PC restart. mt4 close and open again after you have set hotkey.

I did it as per your instruction. I have closed MT4 first and then rebooted. still not working.

Now have a look in the experts tab on your terminal there must be an error message like "import dll not allowed" or something.

15 pairs @~300 pips is 20 pips/pair a day.

The more I dig into this the more interesting it gets. I have a question, I am messing around with setups that I am familiar with, still levels trading but not necessarily Fibs, although I can see how that potentially works. I like looking at candles, they help me with a story, so I loaded up the offline chart as a candle chart. And I have a question, most if not all candles are gap candles. ie. The open is typically either higher or lower than the previous close and the close is typically around the open of the previous candle.

To a layman, it looks like Open and close are the wrong way around somewhere, but it also might be the case that I don't fully understand how and how frequently is calculates the basket value. Have I missed something guys ?

I can see how you came to think that.

A offline basket chart over multiple pairs and buy and sell combined is always a "by approach" chart.

First of all you are combining different prices to try to match and display it as one "price" and secondly you are converting sells to buys (or vv) to create a chart where what it says as price on the right of the chart doesn't matter (it is imaginary) but will indicate the direction of your overall basket.

Then you have the time lag.
If you have left the Writer as default it will generate a fake tick every 2000 Ms (2 seconds) and with "big" baskets around 10 pairs a lot of price movement can happen in those 2 seconds. If your system can handle it try a 10 Ms chart and see if that is updated better.

If you still have doubts please post a bit more detailed pref with image) where you think the writer goes wrong.

Don't know if it will work with this strength or ccfp calculation but it should (have to try that alongside my trading).
On a H1,H4 or Daily basis lock your basket based on strength or ccfp using the "use current" modifier based on on H1 indicator refresh time 2 hours and 5 minutes after Tokyo open.
Then generate a basket based on those selections about 1 hour before London open and set breaks for either reversal or continuation.
If you are awake during Asian you could also generate a basket immediately and first try to trade that same TKY + 2 basket during that session for some profit and close bbefore LO-1 .

Thanks FxMadness, this isn't a criticism by any means, I think this is a work of genius. I understand the challenges that you mentioned with generating the 'imaginary chart' as you put it. Now if open and close was 'the wrong way around' I can simulate that by changing the candle colours, making it look upside down. (ie a Bear candle is coloured green and a bull candle is coloured red). Then your offline chart looks like it is handing off from bar to bar more in-keeping with that of a standard chart:

So - if you look at this 'fake'chart, the handoff from close to open are more aligned. So if there is a problem with plotting open/close this may also affect the endpoint of the line chart as it's plotting. It also potentially affects the view of a healthy retracement at a level.

Hope that makes sense, a bit difficult to explain
