GMT. I always calculate from GMT, luckily my broker does too.

12:02 just closed with a max gain of 189 pips and profit locked at 105 pips, not bad. 16:02 just opened and usually this is the weakest link so we shall see how it goes.

So is your MT4 platform also set to GMT? That's pretty cool so then your server time and GMT is the same it makes things easier.

I'm sorry my server is set to GMT +3 which I believe is accurate for the NY close during daylight savings. That's the time frame you want. However I still calculate my time based on GMT so 08:02 is still GMT time or 1 hour after London open.

Ok cool so same as me. I was wondering about your times as the broker will open the next candle based on their server time not GMT, so for example a new daily/H4 candle will open at 00:00 server time which is actually 21:00 GMT.

It can get confusing sometimes with the GMT time and MT4 server times that's why I just wanted to be clear lol.

Guys how are you using your FXM indie? Are you using the "use *= instead of += set to true?

Who of you are using the "use FXM calculations" setting?

So the 16:02 basket hasn't closed, but as I mentioned earlier it has proven to be the weakest link so I am going to test 04:02 instead. So the lineup for the Strength H4 timed basket will be 00:02, 04:02, 08:02, and 12:02. Here are the results from today. Bottom right is 16:02 and top left is 00:02 and it will trigger tonight with TO.

The calendar this week is absolutely packed with red news. Rates everywhere starting with AUD tonight, the question is of course is to include the pairs or to exclude. For testing purposes including would be the only way to find out which is better but either way you can't predict the market reaction. There will be many opportunities for manual trading and manual basket opening after news this week. Good luck to everyone!

I've been testing a new set up using H4, and H1 for momentum and so far so good. I started last night with TO, then LO this morning and I opened again again at 12:10 just to see, and all 3 sessions hit their TP of 100 pips with minimal DD. The 12:10 basket hit TP in less than 30 mins. Still too soon to know the consistency but it's looking good.

Today was actually the first day for my H4 timed baskets that will end in red, but it's not too bad. I am probably going to cut out 04:02, i didn't expect it to do well and it didn't. I have found however that the basket that has Allow New Trades has performed slightly better than the basket that has it as false. Cutting the 04:02 would have made the results positive today so that's good. Also I noticed that last night if I had excluded AUD pairs during TO and if I had excluded GBP pairs this morning during LO both baskets would have performed better. I also have a manual test going as well and it is doing quite well. I'm definitely spending more time on this strategy than anything else because I see the best potential.

Yeah my TO baskets closed in red from AUD pairs. They were in profit on their way to hit TP but then new suggestions showed up on the FXM which were my luck AUD pairs and the news didn't go in favor of those suggestions. It could have gone either way but perhaps excluding the AUD beforehand would have given a different result.

First results from filter. Closed it manually as expect GBP pull back.

Once again NZD in the red ...

PIF's setting is not doing well today. I'm still kind of on BE with this setting overall. I'll keep running it daily and see on Friday whether I'll keep it or not.

I run PIF's strategy with EQB on all baskets and it's green today about 200 pips, but again it's using D1 and W1 so it will inevitably have red days.

Aaaaannnnd again! Ok I'm getting bored now.. I opened it again after the previous basket hit TP and it hit TP in less than 1 hour. That's 500 pips for the day.

Further testing is needed to see if this will be consistent but I'm liking the result so far, and the DD is not that bad either.

EDIT: I see you're using a single basket, the PIF setting I'm using is with the Weekly, daily and MTF baskets.
