Nobody mention this one yet, really need to use an online calculator to get the current prices / conversions

There are many different methods of calculating lot sizing.

I'd look into this a little more:

-Fixed fractional lot sizing
-Optimal f, Kelly R

Erebus, the http://www.earnforex.com/position-size-calculator is a good and well accepted calculator, and I think it does exactly what the pip risk calculation part of the RiskLotIndicator does if you put in a value for FixedPipsForRisk and set UseFixedPipStopLoss to true - but that online calculator doesn't consider how much of your margin is being used in a dynamic calculation, which may be important on small accounts.

I changed the way RiskLotIndicator checks to see if the system provides the necessary information and attached. I don't think there is a good way, but do think this is better than the alert in the init() part of the program.

Can you give some examples of how to use this in every day trading using some? Some numbers, account size, lot size, chart example etc?

How is it better than just the plain vanilla 2% , especially for novice traders?

I have just 1000 dollars us, to trade and i have tried to use the software to calculate lot size. I could not get a result, how is this software used, does it work with MT4 to work and can it work with the one i have already installed.

Bit fuzzy on the details -

1. Which software you tried & didn't work?

2. Which one you already have installed?

With any account size, the online calculator works fine -

Do the calculation and enter the correct size in Metatrader, easy as!

i downloaded the risklotcalculator software. but i got a lot of programming statements. I already have an account running using metatrader5. I just wanted to be able to calculate the correct lot size for my trades.
