Trading Plans 30/08/2017 7:24 am AEDT.

Orange impact EUR news all day, RED impact US news at 10:30 pm AEDT.
DAILY :

ROMAR : SUPP
EMA : SUPP
PSAR : SUPP
fibo : green
MACD : last cross UP
DB : attached at top of current candle, with SAR and the SAR price label.

Indicators headed strongly upwards, ema at smooth for a possible crossing to complete the swing to uptrend.Market is way above (>100 pips) the daily purple, indicating imbalance, correction/consolidation might be in order. Daily fibo 100 is the resistance, with market having traded outside the box yesterday, and retraced back below the fibo 100.


H4 :

ROMAR : SUPP
EMA : SUPP
PSAR : SUPP
fibo : RED, was reset since last night, new fibo zero established.
DB : attached at top to previous candle with SAR, price label, and the green dash-dot divergence.
Nearest support the daily H4 Purple is about 20 pips below market, about 60 pips down to H4 EMA, the PSAR another 15 pis from there.

All indicators are headed strongly upward. With the imbalance on the daily, the H4 supports may not hold for long. Market shows small correction on current H4 candle, possibly lots to go.

H2 :
ROMAR : SUPP
EMA : SUPP
PSAR : SUPP
MACD : last corss UP
fibo : RED, was reset since last night establishing new fibo 0 at top.

Strong uptrend as in highr tf charts, market at purple for downward consolidation seen in current candle, ema is 38 pips below. Previous candle hit upper BB, retrace to ema (or lower BB) likely as per Paradox rules.

H1 :
ROMAR : SUPP
EMA : SUPP
PSAR : SUPP
MACD : last cross UP
fibo : RED, reset since last night, with new fibo 0 established.

In sync with higher tf charts at the moment, strong uptrend continues with last 3 hours showing correction of around 40-45 pips.

ENTRY Notes :
A long entry would be favoured as per Paradox rules after the daily shows better balance. The rules for that indication for entry would be :
- white crossing purple on H2
- preferably with SAR attachment at lower candle
- hit on the daily purple/white.

A short would be counter-trend and high risk trade, (which I suspect many traders much more experienced than I might be taking).

With all due respect that was just an example chart with different time stamp on 2 different brokers, no changes were made to paradox original template. Can I borrow your clocks until I get the hang of different time zones?

Admittedly, my trading plans are a bit lacking in details, as I realised after reading the current posts from others, and also feedback from kind Oli. I will try and supplement with more details as far as possible.

I am now trying to add details to my today's plan above.

The rule I used to determine trend vs consolidation is fairly simple. I believe I more or less quote Dana's words below :

"If EMA crosses pruple & becomes Support, and ROMAR is already support, you are in trend"
the reverse :
"If EMA crosses purple & becomes resistance, but ROMAR is support, you are in consolidation".

These are from my hand-written notes, so I apologise if the wording is not exact quote, it is unintentional.
So the H2 is now (AEDT 9:07 pm) having white corssed purple, and smooth at purple for the crossing or slider, the H2 is going into consolidation and it might be time to look for a long entry off support. it would be great to buy a bounce off the fib 50 on the H2, it may or may not go that far down, sometimes you'd be surprised. My notes also include this :

"... the retrace on SAR is usually at the 61.8 fibo ...."
I can't now be sure if this was referring to being inn trend ( I think so). This makes me think that I have to add reference to my hand-written notes (i.e., page#, post #) and finally persist these in a db as suggested by onejester, might get into that this weekend.

I doubt the retrace will get as deep as fib 61 this time, but I might be suprised.
Any thoughts Dana ?

"... the retrace on SAR is usually at the 61.8 fibo ...." 'or 23.6 - Depending on the Fibo trend'.

And that is what should had been in your notes.

I have stated it many times that the 61.8 AND the 23.6 are hard support and resistance.

Guys just thought i would add my plan and entry from very early on today. not sure if it will get there yet, so not being presumptuous i just need to concentrate on this evenings plan and would like a comment on my entry for future reference either right or wrong if and when Dana has the time.
the final plan may not make sense to some as i was adding and removing all day for future reference.

Last MACD 0 crossing - The crossing is up.
Last EMA Alert Arrow - Lime Green up on bar prior of the MACD crossing up:

Notes: The 4 horsemen are in an uptrend with a PW cross and next bar PS together with EMA cross with ROMAR as Support. Daily out of balance, expecting a retrace soon! BB’s still opening up. 70 pips to purple support. BB’s opening up.

Notes: The 4 horsemen are with the uptrend with an open candle below smooth. BBs are still wide open indicating further North movement. Market out of balance.

Final Notes for all three charts: All 4 horsemen of the four charts are uptrend together with ROMAR. But several elements of the uptrend, with each chart, are also indicating a conflict with the uptrend: Fibs and balance!!

The Daily out of Balance - The Fibo is reversed for the downtrend from the top. DB/SAR at the top with Magenta divergence.
ADJ: Market double topped and left the hazel tag at the new high.
The 4HR – market above horsemen, both divergence and red fib. Lower BB inside the fib.
ADJ: Market crept to a new high 131.626. 4 horsemen still strong. Open below smooth.

The 2 hour - The Fibo is reversed for the downtrend from the top. Market at purple and smooth. The MACD still up but getting weaker. BB’s still wide open.
ADJ: Macd losing steam BB’ parallel. SAR on PS cross, BB’S closing on going up. (EMA??????)

The 1 Hour - Open candle between smooth/EMA . The Fibo is also in the downtrend mode from the top. BB’s closing in
ADJ: Horsemen flatPurple staying above white, Crossed with H2. Macd just crossed below the 0

Long:
Short: Entered short on first sign of PW cross on H2 H1. MACD looking weaker while rising market and struggling 3 times at the high, still got 40 to PSAR, market could do with Balance.
Rules: balance required. White crossing purple signalling change of swing. BB’s closing in on all but Daily. All fibos flipped for down. SAR on correct bar TBC
Would have entered short off Purple resistance to go with PSAR would have liked to see the red arrow first but believe balance will steal the show, as per SAR.
News: US news 2.15 / 3.15 and 4.30pm euro time

2nd Revision to my plan yesterday morning, where the entry was waiting on a signal of a major support being hit e.g., fib's 23 on H2, or (better) daily purple.

DAILY : continues to be in uptrend with market in imbalance wrt the horsemen. fibo flipped to RED.

H4 : beginning the consolidating downtrend in balancing the daily's uptrend. White crossed purple, had a hit on the EMA and then PSAR which is at fibo 23.

H2 : with white and smooth crossing purple, the H2 is in consolidating downtrend, market went below fibo 23, PSAR flipped on the current candle.market hit fibo 38 and bounced.
H1 : Has been a in a tight slider with horsemen close.

ENTRY plans : Being conservative, I am going to wait for sufficient confluence, my favoured confluence would be H2 candle open above EMA as firm indication of reversal of the retrace. Will be at work so may or may not be able to check Paradox charts. Further retrace down to the daily purple cannot be ruled out. I will wiat and see.

Entry: Waiting on a hit of significant resistance to go short with the h2 due to the H1 and H2 are in sync. Waiting for Sar attached to go short
on the h2. H1 is at resistance with the 61.8 and Sar attached as well.

Entry: Entered short off H2 resistance with Sar attached and the h1 at the 23.6 resistance and Daily imbalance with purple along
with the h4 purple at the crossing with smooth and macd down.

Shorted at 131.384

Very nice trade Jakdan - in fact - I took the same trade but a little earlier than you; off the top of the Fibo and out on the next two bars using the Parabolic for the pip count for the SAR. When I seen your trade I was wondering if you would make it with or before the SAR - but you did. When you are counter trading the risk is high if you do not catch the top or the bottom going the other way. Always remember the SAR is waiting to strike. So be sure the count is right from entry to the Parabolic.

Thanks for the comments Dana, I will take your advice and lay off for another 1-2 weeks of further study before posting plans on the thread. I feel that the rules are not yet firmly embedded in my head. It is better to re-enter with more confidence in Paradox which can only come when the rules become second nature.

Self Evaluation

According to my plan I waited on the Sar to attach on the H2 at the lower high. The H2 parabolic had flipped for consolidation and ema had crossed purple so I entered as soon as I saw the Sar attach. My entry was maybe a little early as I could have had a better one once the market went sideways and hit the parabolic with the bb closing in for H2 ranging which would have given me a quicker trade. Thank you Dove for any feedback on this trade.

Let's just say you was lucky. What is the rule in 'Not what to do' on entries? The risk for a Higher High was imminent with your entry.

Would it be to never assume anything. I believe I came to the assumption that my entry was the lower high and that the market would drop with the Sar attached. Ema was also still sliding under smooth which shot the market up close to the BB.
