Make sure that Indicator_ID on the input of FXM_Writer is the same as FXM_Diff3.

Congrats FxMadness to your new thread...being curious to learn more of your strategy...TTM (?)

After a holiday break I tried below settings about a dozen times today for total 331 pips, almost always just 3-12 minutes in the market, I like very shortterm trading and believe that it should be successful on every day with good trending pairs like today...of course takes some time

Thanks for this, following with interest. Just to note, when I loaded the templates for the offline charts they were looking for indicators and experts in a /BDM subfolder of the indicators and experts folder. I created that folder and put them in, it all worked fine (just in case anybody is struggling here).

Do not look at the offline chart as something weird.
On the left is a normal eurusd M15 chart on the right the chart generated by the FXM_writer for the same single eurusd pair.
The only thing that differs are the price levels on the chart.

Except for the "Text" in there it seems ok.
Try to click "start trading" to see if they go away and then save the template again.

Couple of things to observer here.

First of all the high and lows on a candlestick chart seem exaggerated compared to the bodies but they are not.
The high and low (sticks) represent the absolute movement of the pairs and the bodies represent the effective movement.

So if you trade TTM using the [Touch] options you are trading the sticks because if the overall price touches your break line TTM will start to trade but if you use the [Break] mode the body of the candle has to close above or below the buy/sell break line. In the latter (break mode) it is important that you generate your offline chart on the timeframe you want to trade because that determines the candle close.

Secondly, even a very diverse basket obeys in a way the fibonacci and the support and resistant levels.
If you have a good fibo or S&R indicator that works on offline charts i would use it on your template.

There are no pairs showing in TTM so either look in the expert log for other errors or just start the fxm_diff->lock->basket->writer->ttm sequence over.

No,I cant get it to show any pairs. Thats the only error im getting. Ive run the setup 10 times now and the same happens.Offline chart is updating prices so no idea.
I am using a broker with "-ECN" as suffix ,would that be the issue ?

Normally not, i am using brokers with prefixes and/or suffixes.

Have a look in MQL4/files/BDMBASKETS you should see a file called FXM3-06.txt (FXM [Bsk] button) and a file called #FXM-3#06 (FXM_Writer, TTM input).
They are as follows

6 (number of pairs)
xxxxxx,NRM (xxxxxx = pairname without prefix/suffix NRM is normal)
xxxxxx,REV (xxxxxx...., REV is reversed trading)
......

Also there has to be a global variable $FXM$BASKET$[name of the basket] but there should only be one off the $FXM$BASKET$xxxxxx globals.
I noticed an error that the writer does not remove an already used global. So make sure ther are all deleted.

Edit: Hold on i see that the day number is not corresponding.
Think i have made a mistake.

MMMMM, interesting error in MQL4 again regarding refreshrates and timecurrent().

But never mind, try this new FXM_writer.

Thanks great work.
Two questions,
First - the writer accepts one indicator #, can this be changed to accept multiples, if you are using more on the one chart e.g. 1,2,3,4, etc (tried this but won't accept)?
Second - can this be used on a live account as I see Demo stated in FXMTTM?

None, first click on [Break] (or [touch] whatever you like better).

Ps. And after you are satisfied with the placement of the lines do not forget to click [Start trading] or the thing will do absolutely nothing.
