Same settings totally different result, plus my Tokio basket said a minus figre untill i reset it, and found out it had hit TP, weird ! is this a fault with beta 40? is anyone else getting this ?

I've had it freeze as well, good for when you're green but could be pretty bad if it freezes on the way down. Same basket for me didn't open for London, I'm pretty sure it would have hit TP so I missed another 600 pips today for what would have been a 1200 pip day for just my strength basket.

Here are the baskets I ran last night for TO and LO. The only two baskets that didn't fire were Embry1 LO and FIFO EQB Perpetual basket which is a real shame because I missed out on some serious pips there.

I ran a 6x6 matrix at TO last night. All closed with profit. One side of the matrix was time (5 min, 15 min, 30 min, 1H, 4H, D1) and the other side was different conditions. I have hit hardware limitations, once I upgrade, I would like to run a 36 x36 matrix every trading day for a month. That should give us a lot of interesting data to chew on. Sorry, the scientist in me is coming out!

Hi Embry, Mine did fire but locked up in the middle of the trade, All i can say is i never ever had this happen with beta 32, my Tokio basket was showing -60 so if i had not have seen Alexes post i would have thought it was a loosing basket, when i reset the Ea by selecting experts then opening up the EA and just selecting ok, when the EA refreshed it showed +617 so if your useing Beta 40 People i suggest you reset your EA as you might get a nice or not nice suprise !
i wonder if its something to do with the new indis or its beta 40 ? cant see it being the indis but im no expert changing back to beta 32 tonight see how it goes then will report to Jess.

I ran the same 6x6 matrix for LO. One of the basket would not open no matter how many times I tried, maybe because I had too many pairs open. All closed with profit except one which is still running at -155 pips. That is the fifth basket from the top.

All of us here are working to identify the best conditions (i.e., best tpl). That was a fluke and so many baskets ago that I have rewritten it many times. You are welcome to participate in our quest for the best tpl.

Do you have allow opposites and allow duplicates = false? Even if you do, that's a lot of pairs for a 50 pip target with no SL, one bad basket could wipe out most of your good ones if not all or more. That's just my opinion, you may just be testing it out but the R:R with what you display currently is a recipe for disaster.

I have been thinking that when I start running the 36x36 matrix, I should save all the offline charts and study them. That way we may get a better picture of the time when we should enter trades on each market. Anyone is interested in helping out with this BORING task?

I would not be so crazy to do it this way on my live account.
Right now I don't care about TP or LS or... I just want to gather as much data as I can.

Man days like today I wish I hadn't put a TP on my baskets and just a profit lock and let it run to the moon. That's an approach that needs to be explored for sure, I may consider running some tests with no TP at all but the same SL just to see how far they can go. A day with a 1:5 R:R means you can be wrong every other day of the week and still break even.

So it seems a few of us are experiencing issues with the EA not firing or freezing up etc. I've spoken to Jess about it so he's looking into it.

90% of my TO and LO baskets did not open and some of my baskets also freeze up until I refresh them ans then they update. For TO its ok as I'm still around and can monitor and open them manually but for LO I'm still sleeping so it's a problem, and seeing so many guys having a good day is really frustrating me.

I hope this can get sorted.

Nice results Embry1. I noticed that you set your open times at 00:09 ans 07:09? Is there any particular reason why you choose :09 and not :05 or :10? :09 seem kind of odd lol.

Testing how helpful the offline chart may be to enter a trade anytime. Using the offline chart may negate the TO, LO and NO. This trade reached the 50 pip goal in less than 10 minutes around 12:40 pm New York time. This offline chart was set to refresh every millisecond. You can apply your favorite indictor to the chart.

I could consider generating a excel file for you.......that would make you happy i think.
On the other hand, if you register your account on MyFxBook or FxBlue you can generate almost any xls you need to analyze the data.

You are much too kind. I realize that you are a very busy person but I think giving me an excel sheet would be like giving me a fish (God I miss those mobile fish stands in Holland ). I hope I did not offend you since that was not my intention. Or was it?

If I am serious about FX trading I need to learn the tools of the trade (to fish). But you could help me a lot by telling me which one you recommend to be better (MyFxBook or FxBlue).

Have some Pi for all your help. It is on me.

So the reason behind that is because I have my FxM set to refresh every 5 minutes so if I have it set at 05 or 10 it risks not opening the basket because there's a few second lag to calculate new signals. 00:10 is the best time in my opinion because you have 1 5 minute candle for trend and 1 candle for a possible small pullback, so 09 is the closest I can get.

Refresh offset = The offset in seconds after the bar (of the chart you loaded FXM on (EURSEK would be a bad idea here)) closed before FXM starts counting down to the "Timeout in seconds before all new".

The current (FXM loaded chart symbol) bar closes now if you use current or bar somewhere in your settings it might be useful to wait some time for the first ticks to establish a "current bar direction".

FXM tries to make sure that on all 28 pairs there are "new bars" when the above offset expires.
The timeout in seconds is the time FXM waits before just doing it's calculations and that should (almost) never happen with a reliable broker.
