As I mentioned, there was some strange behavior on my broker last night that that appears to have repeated. I am exploring options of the new EA protecting from such an event. I do not want to offer signals or sell an EA that can be broken by such an anomaly.

As you can see, prices spiked far outside the channel and orders were opened far outside channel and sl caused serious losses.

I sent an email to my broker about this and this is their response.

Early this morning one of our liquidity providers was sending off market quotes caused prices on several pairs to show up incorrectly in our platform. We have tended to the issue and corrected the price history for affected pairs and corrected trades opened or closed during this short time period. We apologize for the inconvenience.
In case you still have any order you wish to dispute please send a brief explanation of the issue by email to [email protected] include your trading account number, order ID/s and our colleagues will assist you further.

Back on track trading. Hopefully the broker will credit some of that loss back to my account. Not holding breath though.

Received an update and my request is in queue due to the volume of requests. I suppose there were several traders affected by this error. I will probably setup a new trading account and signal account as the draw down caused by this broker side error is unreasonable and not a true reflection of my trading or EA behavior. If I do, I will post updates as usual.

Looks like the broker is trying to do the right thing. I have been with them for years and this is the first issue I can remember.

Should have the new production EA next week. By that time I will see if the broker credits come into my account and take away the fake draw down. I am also thinking about dropping myfxbook and post a trade explorer here on FF. Never used that feature before.

I think I will stop posting winning trades on this forum. I think I have shown enough as to the effectiveness of the algorithm. Once the new EA is available, I will start a new forum with FF Trade Explorer.

Well, it appears that Traders Way was true to their word and credit back the orders placed during the period of that erroneous data stream from the liquidity provider. They get points in my books for that. The downside is that the MQL5 and MyFXBook charts are still showing draw down. If that is the same by beginning of next week, I will start new charts based on the new EA. For US folks, have a safe holiday weekend! For the rest, have a safe weekend!

In the process of setting up new charts for new EA. To avoid confusion, I will close the previous charts and signals. All new data will be based on new EA. When all is set, I will post here the new links.
