The initial pair/s that opened rose so quickly with profit that it offset the spread on the pairs that followed is the only explanation and is confirmed by the graph I opened.

The only answer I know of with this is the SOH (Sit On Hands) approach as used in e.g. EAX (it may be in others) where you can select how long after a trade is closed you wish to SOH, e.g. mins or candles.

Great to read you are designing a graphical EA, are you taking requests like SOH (Sit On Hands) etc to be incorporated or are you designing based on your on personal (private) EA that you use?

TO baskets opened not in a good way, luckily my VB saved me from some potential losses tonight. Unfortunately one of the baskets got triggered and then reversed to SL, but it was only one basket and it could have been a lot worse.

Your basket setting that I'm testing is similar to your results actually except I start at 23:10 instead of 00:10.

The baskets I was referring to are my 50 pip baskets with a VB trigger. Only one of them triggered and got stopped out anyway, the rest are still floating in DD in the VB. There are some others also running that aren't doing too bad but still nothing to cheer about.

This is what I'm talking about how my TO 50 pip baskets are not doing well and floating in DD in the VB. If it wasn't for the VB my basket would have got stopped out pretty quickly. I'm liking the VB lol.

Good morning, I have problems in running VBasket. I have configured Xm7 so that it does not open a basket until it reaches a positive value of 10 pips. Similar to your basket.
I do not know why, when the virtual basket reaches the positive value of 10 pips, only the individual pairs with a value greater than 10 pips open me in the actual basket. He does not open the whole basket.
Attached example where the basket was 9 pairs and xm7 only to open two pairs. Is this setting correct?

Slowly resuming the approach to CCFp/FXM strategy for short term setup after holiday break. So far I've tested few days mostly Embry1 proposed ideas and it went well. Yesterday LO was a winner and today both old and new Embry1's setup finished in profit (lock feature). Unfortunately it's the second day in a row that TO basket didn't fire up, I don't know why and couldn't find anything in the logs, so I deleted all Global Variables and restarted my MT4. Despite two weeks holiday break my (demo) account opened on 25/07 for testing short term CCFp and Red News is up +27%, so not bad at all.

On a more general tone I think the key to have this strategy profitable is not to look for new exotic setups but to have a balanced trade management with 1:1 risk to reward ratio as already pointed out many times here.

so t/p is working ok then,just the freeze has given you a positive slippage.
Have you tried the ea with the standard ccfp and see if you still get the freeze ?

No not really but somebody else gets the freeze also .. had to refresh to get the real result..
But i didn't tryied with regular ccfp

I had a feeling this week was going to be special. Thank you FxM for the indicator and Xmess for the new additions to the EA. Last night I decided to only test my Strength basket, FIFO EQB, and CCFP D1 baskets along with a separate MT4 to test the perpetual version of each to see if normal TP and SL works versus a longer term perpetual trading with individual TP and SL. I will be posting results in more detail as my baskets close but as of now, this is what I woke up to.

Also, it seems like the perpetual idea isn't going to work the way I described it yesterday because if you use individual TP and SL, as soon as it closes it will reopen if it is still a valid signal. So if that gets fixed in the EA with something like Payitforward suggested with a Sit On Hands option after a trade is closed then it will be viable. I will probably test those baskets instead with much higher TP and SL and let them run much longer than my normal baskets and just let the trades accumulate into a mega basket and hopefully that will create some huge pip counts.
