Disliked{quote} I've been following these ccfp threads for a while, but this is my first post here. So first I want to thank everyone who have contributed to make this great system. FXM, I was checking FXM_Diff3 at D1 FF and saw the suggested pairs are very different from CCFp_Diff_[v2.0]. A screenshot and the set file for FXM indi is attached. {file} {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} I have also looked at the differences and there is only a difference if you have "use current" set = true, so using TF or TT there might be a difference in some of the suggestions sometimes, but if you use FT or FF its the same suggestions as the CCFp-Diff. My thinking its that FXMadness is using a slightly different calculation of the "use current" setting on his indie. It's not a big issue for me as I'm having very good success with the FXM indie and I've stopped using the CCFp-Diff indie long ago.Ignored
DislikedPIF FIFO Comparison {image} and this is the progress of a test ... Left Hand Side did not fire hence the several minutes delay in start time see image for details (self explanatory details) {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks for setting up this thread and sharing your knowledge. In your FXM tests I see you still have two CCFp indicators (the bottom 2). You could have replaced them with FXM indies using Low and Medium settings to filter on D1 and W1. That would give you the true comparison of CCFp vs FXM. Did you have any specific reason to use CCFp for the bottom 2 indicators? {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Are you currently testing all 3? Or did you just put that together to see the differences?Ignored
DislikedCan't see it anymore because the baskets are closed. How many pairs where traded in those 15 baskets ?Ignored
Disliked{quote} The baskets opened 36 pairs and i manually close 11 pairs (6 Nzdcad and 4 cadchf) just before Frankfurt Open as I see opposite RSI signal for those pairs. The result could be higher as only cadchf reversed. But I didnt want to take a risk as it is live accIgnored

DislikedSo LO was bad as well today. I'm guessing the GNP news did not do well for the baskets. Unfortunately I'm not awake for LO so there's no way for me to monitor beforehand. This is turning out to be a bad week for daily FIFO baskets. Have any of you experimented with using a VB for FIFO? I was thinking of have a VB set to trigger at say 10-15 pips, that way it might help with those baskets that run straight into DD. Looking at LO yesterday, TO last night and LO this morning if I had had a VB none of the baskets would have triggered and I wouldn't...Ignored
Disliked{quote} can you explain the logic / thinking behind one of your baskets fxm diff alt id 8 ccfp d1 strength w1 i would make some sense if it were fxm diff alt id 8 strength w1 ccfp d1 but obviously they give different outputs is it just trial and error of all settings?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Yeah GBP did one of those false direction moves again, went sharply down then shot up like a rocket and GBP was below the MA at the time so all the indicators went short GBP, even the news basket. Again adding to the worst week in the history of trading lol.Ignored
