Markets always won't move as we expected. But give enough opportunity to correct ourselves..
It's so amazing to see that the market giving time and chance...
I really love it...
This only makes me to explore it more deep...

I have 69 closed trades. For each trade the broker takes 10 GBP as brokerage, that equals to 690 GBP , which is 23% of the capital. I think it is too expensive. Does anyone have solution for it?

Interactive Brokers' commission is a little lower. They charge 4 dollars for a single trip. So for a long position, they charge 4 dollars when you open it and they charge 4 dollars when you close it. So the total is 8 dollars. The downside is, they require a minimum of 20k dollars to open an account.

The cost is related to the gain (if it exists ...) and then to the trading plan (scalping, swing trading ...)

We suppose I enter a trade with SL 0.71 points and TP (x2: 0.71 x 2 = 1.42)
Trade risk, 2% ($ 5,000 CFD account, $ 100 risk)

My broker commissions $ 10 for tick and spread of 3 ticks per lot
(The point is worth $ 1000, the one hundredth of a point only $ 10)
If I trade a lot, I would pay 3 ticks x 10 $ = 30 $ per lot

But if only 100 $ risk, I trade 0.15 lots ... ((100 $ / 0.71 SL) / $ 1000) = 0.15 lots

How much does it cost ?

1 lot: 0.15 lots = $ 30: x (trade cost) ... x = 4.5 $

The trade hits TP2 and gain (TPx2: 0.71 x 2 = 1.42 points)
Gain 1.42 x 1000 $ x 0.15 lots = $ 213 (cost 4.5 / 213 = 2.1% + SWAP cost)

Obviously, fewer gains per trade, more cost increases in%: ... scalping?

Years ago I researched different futures brokers at the time this was the cheapest

and they still look operational but I have never used them so dont know. I just remember them by their name.

Also I know Ninjatrader's in house brokerage was advertising cheap fees a while back...have a look around

So, two different entry points ...

Aggressive red on breakout ... minor line: small sl, TP> 3
Normal orange on breakout ... intermediate line: normal SL, TP x2 (x3)


P.S.
I did notice ... perhaps the peculiarity of the black gold ... halving chance or doubling time ... compared to yellow gold ... maybe
"It is curious to observe the difference with yellow gold: same period (8 days), same geopolitical event ... 4 entries (the double)"

... anyway ... good trading to all ...

Anyone went long?..... I went long and exit @ 46.43... My mind told me to hold the position but i cant able to hold my position. Does anyone have idea to make myself comfortable in holding the positions, which is correct direction.

Thank you mag00 for your trading system . But i don't need it as i have my own way of trading. I need general suggestions only, not any indicators or templates.
