I'm running a similar test as you with Strength but I'm running on L1 and using EQB. It's been giving me good results and I seem to hit over 100 pips most times with a reasonable DD. Further testing is still needed though. I'll be following your updates.

Well being that the original basket had such good results I'm keeping the TF and FF version of the Strength L2 with no EQB and adding Strength D1 TF and FF on L1 with EQB. For some reason when you have all four variations of TT, TF, FF, and FT you get two repeating baskets so it's a filter to hopefully reduce the amount of multiple trades due to double baskets. I'm planning on the TP to be 500-600 and SL to be between 250-350.

Here's a basket which I've been testing since last week with pretty good results so far. You guys can give it a test if you like and see how it works out for you.

Settings: Strength H1, TT, TF, FF, FT, all L2 with EQB filter.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have run them separately previously with both having good success. Some days one does better than the other and vice versa, and some days they both lose or both win, my idea about combining them is to get a 2 in 1 punch and it also speeds up the basket hitting TP. Sometimes there are quite a few signals but that's the point of basket trading to spread the risk. I'm still monitoring a few things and might make some adjustments.

I am almost sure that this is not applicable in your case but i have seen it happen before and this post is just a general wake-up that it "just does not not work that way".

It's the appropriate SL for the basket I traded, it would be the same on demo. I know what you mean though, I made sure to leave enough room for it to swing even though it's live. The basket trades 10-16 pairs and my SL was 250 and TP of 350 with a profit lock starting at 200 pips.

I have FXM calculations set to false, I would indicate if I was setting it to true being that false is default.

Do you notice any difference when trading the news between your live account and your demo with your broker ?
Im using an ecn broker and they have told me it should be exactly the same. Just wondered what your true life experience with it is ?

think this approach may has some merit?

for id1 it says ... give me the strong h4s from the strong d1's which are gotten from the strong monthlies

etc.

am testing it

FxMadness so for your "use FXM calculations" set to = true it uses a mix of CCFp and CC to calculate? I did start testing that function when you released that FXM version, but my platforms were overloaded at the time, and I had to remove those tests temporarily. Are you using that setting = true as part of your FXM indie settings?
