Hi Everyone,

I may have some extra time, and if I can, I would like to learn some basic coding. Do you guys recommend mt4 or mt5? I would appericaite any suggestion which would explain why.

Took a chance tonight and traded TO live. I had a look at the trade suggestions shortly before and they looked ok. TP hit in less than 2 hrs. LO next.

No, actually what he is saying is right. I have heard people who have such money, they use very little to no leverage, so they will never lose anything on margin calls. It is possible to make for example 10-20% in six months (depending on which currency and other reasons) which is a lot higher than if they buy government bonds or just have the money parked in a CD.

Trading long term based on fundamentals, relatively speaking, is a lot easier than trading short term using technical analysis. If a country (i.e its currency) has a large account deficit or high unemployment, those are systematic problems and you cannot cure them in a month or six months.

We are the little guys who are trying to make a few bucks from the short term noise in the market. The shorter you go the harder it is to predict which way the market will move next. That's why monthly baskets do a lot better, and are more predictable, than

HI Mrdfx my tokio opened the same time 23.10 and is still going at+5 pips at the moment-my, london hit sl, -100 pips but i think i must have copied your ccfp settings wrong or its a broker thing, i looked on your trade explorer and the pairs you have open are totally different to the ones that were in my basket that started at 07.10 also , please see my closed 8 , london pairs at the bottom of the picture- and my ccfp settings ,wierd lol

Anyone else having a horrible week so far? Lol. For me its the curse of going live. Any time I decide to try a basket live I get torn apart. Just gotta stick it out. You'd think with no news so far this week we would have some steady trends but it seems the timing of the trends did not sync up with TO and LO.

I'm not too sure about your TO set up as mind did hit TP. My LO basket got shut down and hit my SL, as did almost all my LO set ups.

Also I think you have missed reading the part where I said that was my live set up and the TE is a demo account, so yes they would not be the same.

Yeah LO almost went straight to SL. Strangely enough these non news days seem to have bad timing for trends and it's been choppy. I did however create a shorter time frame Strength basket, it performed well for TO and failed to trigger on LO but that was my fault.

Tight trailing profit,got out with LO and TO with 50 pips on each,better than a loss I suppose,but a loss tmrw will make that irrelevant I suppose.

Keep going,a loss here or there isn't going to make a difference in the long run if the system is solid.

Just a bit soul destroying when it happens as soon as you move to live.

OH ok Buddy, gotcha, so it is prob right ccfp settings, im testing loads of settings got about 20 baskets open and its not good this week, not good at all, roll on September lol

Thank you CAD, this news wasn't even posted last night so I wasn't aware of it happening or I would have run a filtered basket. All we need is some good news like this to fuel the trends.

Made some changes to the original strength D1 basket to hopefully reduce drawdown and not have two of the indicators repeat. The first basket shown was my live account with just TF and FF D1 strength settings. I also opened these at 23:05 which didn't seem to make that much of a difference over 00:05, I will keep testing both times to see which has the best results.
