{quote} Hi, Please keep this mind when analyzing CAD pairs. This is just my opinion but always look at US-OIL before your get into a CAD pair. Just like Michael always analyses the DXY before going further with USD pairs. US-OIL has (i think) has an 80% negative correlation with CAD pairs so in your analysis you were going short CADJPY but US-OIL is currently on its way down (getting weaker, therefore making CAD pairs stronger) to the next Daily demand zone. I would not look for shorts on the CAD pairs until US-OIL hits that Daily demand. That's...

Correlations can be an important part of data mining when thinking of taking a trade on some pairs, especially commodity based economies.

hi all,

if you may explain:

1) how is the shallowness of first retest affect the rate of renounce on sub-sequence retest (2nd/3rd).
2) how is the candle departure and arrival type/pattern to the zone (either supply/demand) do impact re bounce rate.
3) can you provide example of chart with clean departure from a zone without retest (100% fresh)

is it the not deep retest will bounce more effective compared to deep tested zone because of too many unfilled order?
is it the strong candle arrive to a zone zone will bounce more effectively compare to slower arrival of a candle to the zone?

somebody please help to clear the air.

regards & thanks

Great TDA buddy... Looks like a short to me.. can even be shorted at the H4 DBD of 1.49020 level.. as this was responsible in taking a few levels out

Dear Akt,
In this video you marked WT Oil Weekly zone somewhere between 43.0 and 46.0 as demand. Why? It didn't remove any SZ and TL downward was already broken.
Regards.

Hello Yunvic
You are correct on both observations. Those are the ideals we love to have, so all our boxes are ticked
However, let us pull back the curtain a bit. the order flow at that area. that is what i noticed to identify it as demand
By all means, one can add filters to the order flow and say for example that he/she will only take zones that broke trend lines or removed other zones, that is fine as well

best wishes

Hi Autokon,
I don't know whether doji will give us a good base or not.. the reason I use the doji as a base since it has the imbalance there and it causing the trendline break ... hence I used the zone accordingly .. the doji also is a reaction to the below demand zone (in purple) .. I think the real zone need to be aware of is the purple demand zone ...the stop should be placed below the purple dz instead since that is the zone that should be monitored closely....do you spot any mistake in my chart? Kindly let me know if you see them...

Hi Autokon,
Thanks so much ... this is new to me and now I can see the why clearer .. so the base with doji(s) are not accountable unless it nested in HTF zone .. other than that dojis are just reaction to previous zone and should be avoided when deciding to draw the zone on them ...

Is this the criteria that you use to determine the quality of zone structure during your assessment for base selection?

Hello everyone

As the trading week begins, a thought to be considered.....

Often quoted is the world's richest speculator, Warren Buffett.

"be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful" - Warren Buffett.

To paraphrase and summarize the above, "Be contrarian, when the time is right" - AKT

Good evening AKT
I was browsing through past pages & a query rose on seeing this post.
Why did opt to short on H4 chart despite the price being low on curve & testing the weekly demand.

From my understanding.. the weekly demand was no longer fresh due to the test that happened 3 weeks ago.
Please clarify
