The tight range of 1,273.19 - 1,279.84, resembling a Rectangle pattern on (M)30 (causing neutrality on both the (H)1 RSI #52.505 and (H)5 RSI #47.507), is concrete evidence of the high volatility (ATR > 1.6271) related to the positioning ahead of the FOMC Meeting Minutes. The price will enter a "flat" mode and resume this aggressive volatility moments before the announcement. Still bearish (D) candle (3rd straight), still expecting 1,269.88 #eMA(100) for today. (D) ADX # 47.23, BBP# -3.8061 give away the natural extension of the bearish right shoulder which is near 1,261.26 (EMA50), practically the support of the (D) High Volatility belt.

Gold looks bearish to me today.

USD gaining strength. JPY retracing nearly back to open vs USD. Bonds retracing too.

With the north korea thing calming down I see the gold falling hard in the coming days. It failed to make a new high yesterday and the dollar seems to be on an uptrend so that supports this idea.

With positive um-employment data for USD, the market still not reacted bearish for Gold which it should have. Also price is playing above yesterday high. 3 to 4 attempts to go below that high but still no success. With these things in place, I think Gold uptrend is still in place till that time. What will happen next, nobody knows. Only one Trump tweet is enough to change the direction.
