Yes exactly. I set combine lots to true but that should not affect the pip count. Based that we opened our baskets at almost the same time and the same settings we should be getting similar results.

In money you do, in pips you don't.

Not combined so 4 usdjpy (0,01) trades x 4 pips movement = 16 pips is let say 10 $.
Combined 1 usdjpy (0,04) trade x 4 pips movement = 4 pips but still $10.

FXM Nailed that one. He's correct, if you want the pip count to be higher you must set Combine Trades to False. You probably still had the same monetary gain as someone using 0.01 lots but the pip count showed less.

Yeah I was trying to save space on my MT4 as I have way to many tests going on, and combining trades helps a lot lol.

But if I remember correctly xmess7 did say he fixed the combine lot feature so that even if you have combine lot set to true it would still show the correct pip count.

So if not then I probably have been getting the same pips as you guys but didn't show on the trade monitor.

I'm not sure about you guys but the LO session today did not do well for my FIFO 50 pips baskets. TO session they did ok, but when I woke up this morning they were all in DD and did not recover, which is unusual as they only really under performed on Monday's. My TE is crying lol.

It's a relatively new basket so the idea is twice a day on Tokyo and London open and see what the net is at the end of the week. So far I haven't been able to open it for London because I'm having issues with my baskets opening so I've just had to open them for Tokyo but so far not a single basket has hit SL.

I made a post earlier about it, it went well. I set TP at 50 pips on filtered CCFp and ran my 60 TF for news and hit 300 TP. Here are the results for my overall day, and this is having to deal with my baskets not open for the LO and I know for a fact I missed out on 400-500 pips with these baskets by not having them open.

ok,nice,thank you.! Glad to see i wasnt to far away with my 51.
Im noticing a bit of a pattern with the news so far in that we seem to get a run up on the pip count on the 1st ten minutes,then a second run that nearly always seems to match it (after an initial pull back ) around the half hour mark.Im going to keep testing this but it might be something we can exploit as a profit target once entered.
Thats the way I played it today.
Might just be a coincidence that its been happening over the last few weeks,who knows.

Guys I have working on some FIFO set ups for the last 4 weeks now, going into week 5. Over the last 4 weeks of rigorous testing I think I've tested easily over 100 different combinations for their profitability, consistency and min and max DD etc. Each week that passed by I would run the numbers and eliminate the worst ones, and retest the good ones, think of it as a process of elimination.

This week is week no5 and I've been able to finally cut down to the top 5, and hopefully by this weeks end, I'll be able to crunch more numbers and cut down to my top 3 which will be my live staple contenders. After this process I'll happily share my basket settings and post them here for you guys to try for yourselves.

I don't even know how many hours I've spent brainstorming, testing over and over, running the data and figures etc to get to where I am now, but it feels good to be so close to something that I feel is consistently making me pips.

A top three would be beautiful as further testing for the top one basket is more user trading style specific.
