Notes: the daily chart is in a consolidated downtrend to ROMAR (out of trading area). Market 150 pips below purple indicating imbalance. Lower BB within 40 pip striking distance which is also the 50 FIBO level indicating confluence for a support area.
4 HR:
ROMAR - resistance
EMA - resistance
PSAR - resistance

Check List:
Last DB Attachment down at 128.217
FIBO up

Notes: 4 horsemen in a strong downtrend and out of a recent slider. Gold divergence attached below at the bottom of the FIBO.

2 HR:
ROMAR - resistance
EMA - resistance
PSAR - resistance

Last DB Attachment down at 128.217
FIBO up

Notes: market has been moving sideways near the bottom of the FIBO for 6 hours now. White heading towards the crossings with purple for the up. Open candle at white and 20 pips above the bottom of the FIBO.

1 HR:
ROMAR - resistance
EMA - resistance
PSAR resistance
Notes: white, purple and smooth squeezing together and heading into a slider. EMA and PSAR in a strong downtrend.
Final notes: even though the market is in a consolidated downtrend I believe going short is of big risk because the daily is imbalanced, not enough room to the bottom of the FIBO (up) which also has divergence and not enough distance to the dailys lower BB and 50 level FIBO. Ill be on waiting mode to see if the market starts a turn for the up.
Notes for readjustments: the market kept going down, as Dove said, the only way for the market to balance again starts with the flip of the PSAR in the 2 HR which did not happened. Ill look to go short given enough room to support.
Entry: entered short with the hit of the SAR at EMA with confluence with 4 HR smooth 1 HR before a major economic news release.
Rules:
Consolidation so trading is both ways
Trade from resistance to support (opened at EMA 2 HR and smooth 4 HR) with enough pip room to the bottom of the FIBO which was next support

Self-evaluation: closed trade in B/E 10 min before major economic news release (USD). In hindsight I think it would have been better for me to wait for the release as I opened the trade only 1 HR before the release and the market is generally slow before a big release so there was little chance to hit TP.

Final Notes: Market in consolidation. Trading is both ways. Market between Daily EMA and Smooth which is resistance, 4 horsemen in swing down. H4 market hit ROMAR which is still resistance, Daily hit EMA resistance and dropped to Smooth at entry open candle of 02:00 eastern. Daily currently at smooth resistance. Daily and H4 showing resistance above market, and the Fibo has flipped to red indicating overbought market.

Entry: Entered on candle which flipped the Fibo with an outside the box flip, catching the new trend at the beginning with my entry.

Rules:

Market got above ROMAR as resistance, as a rule it must return back below (H2).

Fibo flip with divergences during consolidation is a good source of entry.

40+ pips to H4 EMA/Parabolics and H2 Parabolics

Hello fellow traders, I have a question. Yesterday, as I was making my daily plan, I noted that at the opening of the 17:00 EST candle the 2 HR chart trend was up in confluence with the 1 HR, 4 HR starting its turn and the daily lower BB tagged meaning a retrace to the horsemen. However, I did not pull the trigger because at that time the market was testing the 2 HR 61.8 FIBO level, daily purple and there were 37 pips to ROMAR resistance. The market went up and traveled 40+ pips and got above ROMAR resistance. I would like to know if I made the correct call or if I lost my entry from yesterday. Thanks!

In hindsight you missed your entry (you're in good company I'm sure)...but I fully realize that doesn't answer your question, and I won't attempt to. As was the case, Daily EMA and H4 Romar confluence held Resistance, so far.
I have a related question for the master traders out there: Are there some days when the Paradox simply doesn't offer up sufficiently strong signals/confluence to enter? Or from your expert eye are such days nonexistent?

Thank you for answering Therapsid! I've been finding it somewhat difficult to find good trades where we have enough room from entry point to resistance or support in a way that we can eliminate all risk as Dove has stated we should. Lots of studying and practice ahead.

i guess what i'm hearing you saying is: there is the art form in trading we are exploring here. And as we progress our finger painting will develop over time to a Picasso or perhaps something like this type of entry point.... with practise. is anybody falling over here?

Traders - when the Market opened you had had the open candle above the H1 ROMAR heading for EMA as it had already crossed Purple with the 4 Horsemen up. On the H2 you had the 4 Horsemen up with ROMAR as resistance. On the H4 you had the 4 horsemen also up with ROMAR as the resistant target. On the Daily you had the open above Purple with EMA in confluence with the H4 ROMAR as resistance. I pulled the trigger on the 18:00 ET candle going long and the reason is because of the big picture as I had just described. The trend was up traders and there was no-reason in not pulling the trigger. The target was hit with the H4 ROMAR and the Daily EMA (confluence).

There is not a trading day go by at least one trade is visible. Most times 2 or 3 trades are visible.

Evaluation: TP hit, +40. I missed the trade going up, but I knew that with the confluence of the resistances mentioned on the Daily and H4 that it would be a stopper for the market. The only thing I was waiting on was the Fibo flip to take my entry gong short. The Fibo bumped up on my entry candle by several tenths of a pip, and the next candle had the market turning down. Like Dana said, a well placed trade.

In recognizing the rule to give priority to our H2 trading chart it seems the place many of us find ourselves is discerning the greater support/resistance level, and therefore if we have 40 pips to enter or not. This case is a good example where there was less than 40 pips to H2 ROMAR but more than 40 to H4 ROMAR. I'm wondering, when it comes to support/resistance is it generally helpful to understand the higher timeframe as holding the greater power?

I have posted many times of sequence with ROMAR beginning with the H1 To the Daily.

The Daily ROMAR is still up and we are in a ROMAR ranging mode with the Daily outside the trading area. Opening on Sunday we had an open H1 above ROMAR and had already crossed Purple for EMA and entry going long. Yesterday we had an opening with ROMAR as support in a slider under EMA going long. And because of the sequence with ROMAR beginning with the H1 had placed the H2 in both support/resistance with the H4 ROMAR as resistance. All because of the Daily ROMAR being Support with the sequence. And this will continue until the Sequence is in order for a breakout.

Market had failed to break EMA for 3 candles and the indicators are holding the trend up at the moment.

H1:

EMA - Support
Psar - Support (locked in)

Fibonacci - Red

Notes: ROMAR, EMA, and the 4 horsemen are support. MACD crossed back up above 0 and the Parabolic locked in at the open of the 17:00 EST candle. Bollinger Bands constricted tight together. Upper band inside the Fibo just under the 0.0 Fibo resistance.

Final Notes: The market is in ROMAR ranging. The Daily has the SAR attached just under the Parabolics which have been eliminated with the White and Purple crossing. We are at the top of the H2 Fibo but now the H1 and H2 ROMAR is Support with EMA. The H4 4 horsemen are in full swing up and are support for the market.

Entry: Long - Will enter at SAR attachment on bottom at Parabolics if there is 40 to the resistance as mentioned in the first rule. I see there is also confluence with the Parabolics and the Daily EMA and H4 ROMAR. At the moment there aren't enough pips to the Fibo, DB/SAR to go long and that presents a risk on the H2. Also, Daily SAR is on the top holding resistance.

Entry: Short - Will enter short at EMA crossing of Purple with the Parabolic already locked in on candle previous to entry candle.

Rules:
There must be 40 pips to Fibo, DB and SAR resistance to go long.
EMA holding support not too far from Purple for continuance of the uptrend.
EMA must cross Purple to eliminate risk of being a slider to go short.

I do not see a trade as of this moment with the H2 Fibo and Daily SAR holding resistance and EMA and the Parabolics (H2) holding support.

I know that mr dove and member who understand very well this system are very kind people, and will help us who still not understand (including me)
All we need to do is study and study, and thats what i do
I read every post from first page, and after tenth till hundreds of page, i am confused and start forget what i've learnt.
The lesson is so so hard for me
Then i study again from first page, and still dont understand. Ive repeat this process maybe 20 times
I dont know if im too stupid too learn this, or i study the wrong way
So, may i ask you question, how to learn this technically?
Should i read all page no matter if i understand or not, hoping i find maybe tips or important advice from dove or members? (I know it must be so many important point on the rest page i havent read)
Or may be i shouldnt continue read next page if i dont understand completely with pages i've read

The problem is if we read the beginning page, we are not experiencing the live trade (when mr dove explain the on going trade)

I'm not asking for the easier way, i only asking for the proper method how i should learn from your experience

read all the thread 20 times is just the beginning, the most important things is watch the market everyday ,make plan and apply the rule that you learn from the thread and watch how your trade win or lost, and get the experience from it. So there is a at least 6 month process,or more than that. I think that s why there is no short cut and no one can make a short cut for this system and must learn with heart. Like read the whole English dictionary but still can't speak English , there is no short cut for learning a language, so just study and use this language everyday and learn new things every day by use this language,then one day we can use this language for living.

This is what I suggest: Create a journal and when you do not understand what you are reading then write into your journal what it is you are having problems with and continue reading. When another issue arises then write it down what you are not understanding and continue reading and etc.

What will happen is the issues you were having will come up again with a more detail answer for your understanding and a light bulb will come on.

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."
