One person was killed and nineteen others were injured in Charlottesville, Virginia, after a car plowed through a group of counter-protesters who were demonstrating against an alt-right and white nationalist rally. Charlottesville Police Chief Al Thomas said a 32-year-old woman was killed and the suspect vehicle which fled was found moments later and a male driver was arrested. "We are currently treating this as a criminal homicide investigation," Thomas said at a press conference. You know Nick just because you lived in the US doesn't mean you are an expert or understand the US criminal justice system. You are not a US citizen and so your opinion on such matters is just that an "opinion", not that it is worth much! But lets list some basic facts in hopes that you might take off the SJW classes for a sec and understand that is not always about one case in order to form a gross generalization that is not even fairly close to being accurate.

50 percent of fatal police shootings are white

93 percent of black homicide victims are killed by other blacks

Blacks commit violent crimes at 7 to 10 times the rate that whites do

Black Crimes committed are even more prevalent in the countries largest cities and counties

The percentage of blacks arrested for crimes is consistent with police reports

This is according to the National Crime Victimization Survey, as well as this 1985 study:

Even allowing for the existence of discrimination in the criminal justice system, the higher rates of crime among black Americans cannot be denied, wrote James Q. Wilson and Richard Herrnstein in their classic 1985 study, Crime and Human Nature. Every study of crime using official data shows blacks to be overrepresented among persons arrested, convicted, and imprisoned for street crimes. This was true decades before the authors put it to paper, and it remains the case decades later.

I think it is sad that Faux Prez says one thing ..only to have his aides "clarify" what he said. Trump has not taken a stand against Russia or white supremacy yet everybody around him has to tell what he REALLY meant. That is just stupid. Trump knows very well what to say and will avoid somethings because his aides will come to his rescue. That way he can please the right and get the others to believe his aides. Of course this is an extremely complicated issue...but if you view the numbers objectively

that same 6% (depending on the source) makes up for about half of the nations violent crimes as well. Again, numbers depending on the source, but the general trend is that specific minority group (minority as %, not race) makes up for at least half, if not more than half of the nations violent crimes. So it would stand to reason that same group would have a higher than average death by cop rate. As to whether or not the death rate is too high...cannot answer

What is pretty concrete in the numbers- is that case for case, same crime, blacks are sentenced harsher.
