Here is Version 3.10 of the indicator. I fixed the issue with multiple alerts for the same signal. {file}

1. {quote} Not really. I only gave hints. I did not specify EXACTLY how I use the rules........................................................................ Its not the indicators per se. Its how you use them. The thought process is key! Sometimes the stress of babysitting a thread on forex factory can be exhausting and affect trading adversely. So for now fingers crossed...

This idea ties in neatly with major support & resistance levels.

I actually managed to test it now and the problem seems to be still there unfortunately... The arrow marks the last signal which appeared at 20:50 while the popup is repeated on top of each subsequent 5min bar. I hope you'll find some time to review it again, my dear friend

Multiple arrows/alerts on the same bar is not allowed. But on different bars you may receive alerts and arrows if the timeframe of the chart and the timeframe you set in the input settings of the indicator are different.
Trading is the hardest way to make easy money...

Would anyone be kind enough to help develop this indicator further? I am interested in the indicator generating arrows and alerts on strength breakout cycles. Thanks guys. {image} {file}

Anything with breakout gets NY attention. There are other histograms like I know robinho thread has different types so you could check their if not solved already.

Hi MT7. I never changed any of the settings but the size of the arrows, so the TF has always been current. As I pointed out in another post, it looks to me (unless I'm wrong) like the popup recurs on each subsequent bar as long as the triggering condition is still present (higher/lower value than high/low of previous cycle).
Typical example is if I open MT4 now, I still get popups on quite a few charts, although the arrows didn't appear on the last bar formed when the market closed.

Hi, I'm new to this thread .. I am liking this indicator. I'm just finding the arrows too big for my charts. I am not very sophisticated, can anyone tell me how to change the arrow size? I have gone to indicator list>Edit but can't seem to find where to change the arrow size

Thankyou MathTrader7 for your Indicator. I've just installed it on my MT4. There is a request if you could sort out. I'm unable to change the arrow colours as the blue up arrow becomes difficult to see on a black background. Also a solid arrow would be nice. Could you add these options in your next version? Thanks again for the indicator.

Since there is a lot of interest in this particular tool. Here is an example today of how good a filter it is. My currency strength tool flagged AUD as being worth a look this morning 8.30am(GMT). Drilling down to the corresponding AUD crosses shows ONLY AUDUSD with a tradable (scalping) setup. You should be able to figure out why the other crosses were untradable (for me that is). Entries and exits already triggered of course...should be obvious too...
