Are you people actually making all these pips. I try to follow the rule. Each time I enter the market, it will reverse. What is happening to me. I am really tired of this

Yes.

How long have you been trading this strategy?

Some advice would be to just focus on 1 or 2 pairs and a lot of screen time should help. Understanding how the markets you watch move on the lower TF's will be beneficial and this can only be achieved by watching them for a long period of time.

Also, posting your trades, wins or losses, may be a good idea as other traders here can give you advice.

PVSRA is not a single strategy. It is a piece of art as described by Cigarguy and it has many strategies. There are many ways to analyze PVSRA, depending on the angle of Dragon, the distance to the 200EMA or the break of it, the break or the failure of breaking a key level, etc, etc and etc...

EURUSD M1 +5PIPS SHORT

-> 3 candles with notable volume have pushed PA down making a new low at around 1.7840
-> After that, I waited for a small retrace
-> PA failed to break the 200EMA with a red candle and notable volume
-> I entered there
Got my target and exited.

Been away for a couple of weeks, good to be back. Glad to hear your surgery went well CG, hope your recovery goes smoothly.

As stated watch one or two pairs, hundreds of hours are really required to get the hang of things as personally by the sounds if it if you're frustrated with losing money stick to demo until you can at least stay generally above board profit wise or run 0.01 only. They say to master something takes at least 10,000 hours so don't expect to get the hang of the system within a few days or weeks, maybe even a couple months.

Also there are so many factors that we cannot control so try to look at everyone's charts, see how they trade, what to look for S&R wise and learn how the market really works. You will learn a lot on the original PVSRA forum by TAH if you check post #1 you will find a link.

Read, read, read, learn, learn, learn, burn 100 demo accounts just don't quit a strategy because it is frustrating take time to figure it out. Personally I am not consistently profitable but I am no longer losing money consistently by skipping between strategies or EA's everything takes time and dedication, nothing in forex will come easy.

Hi Victor,

I am new here as of July 1st. I took my first trade July 7th. Here is what I have been doing since I have been at PVSRA.

I decided to follow Cigarguy. He has been here a long time and originated the Forum Thread and is a successful trader. I decided to study each of Cigarguy charts and focus on what he is doing. He follows the EURUSD Triad. I am not yet doing that and follow only the EURUSD for now. Following one pair slows me down and keeps me from trading to much. I also can look at 4 different time frames and that helps me a lot.

I have very good money management in place. This is as important as any other part of trading. Below is an example of what one trader might try to accomplish (5 PIPS PER DAY NET). I am not in any way suggesting that you risk 2% of you account nor am I suggesting that you use a 30 pip stop loss. I simply think it is important that you and me both focus on PIPS and not $$$, If you get the net pips the money flows in. IMO --The most wonderful part about Forex trading is that there will ALWAYS BE ANOTHER TRADE RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER...

Congrats for the new hip. That chart, that is exactly the type of situation where I would doubt (and probably mess it all up) whether the price would continue higher after breaking the MA or move down. Maybe one day I will figure it all out. Back to practicing.

I noticed the downtrend on M5, so when price broke my trendline on M1 I assumed price would continue to the downtrend.

UJ was down trend PA below EMA50-200 PA broke m1 support with volume, waited for PB and enter at the closed of a pin bar.

GbpUsd M1 After a long way down , price retrace toward dragon, bounce 1.29700 resistance and eventually broke that level.5.5 pips FIFO trade.

- Break of the RDL with a big red candle and notable volume
- I waited for a retrace back to the RDL and entered
Got my target and exited.
