Disliked{quote} Dear Sir, I don't know how to contact you privately, hence this post. Many thanks for sharing your excellent indicator, and also the indicator here. I would like to write a trend-following MT4 EA that uses iCustom() to retrieve values from both of your indicators, and use them as filters for its entries and exits. As you've been so generous to share the indicators publicly, I believe that I should also share the finished EA on Forex Factory's forum. However, I won't proceed...Ignored
DislikedDid you had the time to program a EA based on this indicator? If yes, can you be kind enough to share it. Thank youIgnored
Disliked{quote} I gave up on the EA. The iCustom() calls to these indicators were crashing MT4, and I wasn't able to find out exactly why. I suspect it had something to do with the latest MT4 build not being able to cope with the iCustom() code, which was compiled using MetaEditor/compiler build 509. I do all of my coding using MQL4 build 509.Ignored

DislikedThere should be no reason for crashes Here is an example iCustom() test call and it works as expected (just a simple trend buffer reading and displaying as comment on the chart)Ignored
Disliked{quote} Many thanks for your reply. I assume your test case was compiled using build 600 onward. All of my compiles are done using the old build 509. Perhaps the latest MT4 runtime does not like them. Or maybe the problem lies elsewhere. I don't know. Anyway, I've trashed that EA and will resume work on a new one when I have some spare time. It enter trades in ways that don't require iCustom() calls to 3rd party indicators. {quote} Because I have a huge number of indicators and EAs written using the pre-build 600 tech. As long as they continue to...Ignored

Disliked{quote} That indicator simply writes out a comment in the upper right corner with the current state of the trend buffer It is not an indicator to display values - but a simple iCustom() call testIgnored
