Dear traders, here is updated EA version v1.7
This TradeManager may help you to take care of significant levels, execute and look after the trades, secure profit and so on. In this version:

  1. Close losing position by Time in Loss Zone added.
  2. Close losing position by Loss/Win Ratio and Time in Loss Zone added.
  3. Signal on Touch Level added.
  4. Signal on Trade added.
  5. Remove FFCAL vLines and Messages added.
  6. Start reducing TP of losing position by Time in Loss Zone added.
  7. Start reducing TP of losing position by Loss/Win Ratio and Time in Loss Zone added.
  8. Start reducing TP of losing position by Max Loss added.

All these 8 new features are disabled by default.

Let us describe LWR (Loss/Win Ratio) here. LWR is calculated by EA after it has opened position. Its formula: LWR=TimeInLoss/TimeTotal.
TimeInLoss - Time spent by position in losing zone after it was opened.
TimeTotal - Total Time after position was opened.
LWR values may be from 0.0 when position is winning all the time after it was opened till 1.0 when position is in loss from the beginning.
Dale Trading System is level based and LWR is a good instrument to auto define whether Support level became Resistance or not and it is time to exit.

  1. FFCal Red News indicator should be placed in Metatrader4\MQL4\Indicators folder.
  2. Please do not change chart TF EA is attached to.
  3. Please read EA manual before asking questions.

Did any one of U had consectutive two stoplosses recently?

When all play against dollar they forgot to play retraces.
All constitutes very calm retrace trading.

I think LWR is nice tool to consider when making auto trader.
If it has stat significance then this quantity brings pure gold.
How about adding some linear term to it??




And about setting tp to BE.
I was using this with 55 minutes for most pairs.

I think sth like 3 hrs or 4 is better.
Dale wrote sth similar about it that he sees no stat significance of it.


Anyway. soon lm publishing new version of EA with Zgiggy's stop loss.

anyway.
c# is far more easy to develop and debug than mql,
however there is much code to copy paste [my ea src code including]
in mql.

Witth time this ea will outperform anything, since it is easier to code rules in c# than mql.

I had good results applying LWR tool in other scalping systems based on SnR and SupDem levels. It helps to reduce most of full SL trades but cuts off some potential TP trades to BE. Overall performance is improving.
What do you mean by adding linear term to it mate?

imho 55 minutes is too long time period for scalping. And 3 to 4 hrs sounds like a joke. )
I use from 10 to 20 minutes as my best trades doesn't last longer than 30 minutes. Almost all scalp trades lasting over 30 minutes are finishing with random results.

if lwr>0.8 then close trade.
try change it to
if lwr > 0.8 - (minutes from start/30.0)
or sth similar

My distribution of tp trades time is at follows:

fraction_percent /trade_last in minutes
18.50 less than 20
19.00 20
14.90 40
8.30 60
6.00 80
6.50 100
4.80 120


so median like 50 minutes.

Is it possible to add hidden TP/SL options?
And if I want the discard parameter not working, is it true that points from level and points to level is 0?

Hi Spynoza,

  1. I'll add hidden SL/TP in v1.8 but I'd better change scam broker to reliable.
  2. It is enough to set Points to Level = 0 to disable discarding levels.
