a double bottom is only a double bottom after the previous swing high is broken

patterns have to be confirmed,

eg

head and shoulders - trendline break confirms the reversal and the pattern

My swing ea I designed gave me a swing signal for sell around 10 ish .Currently set for a 50 -100 return ratio running a 85% so might let it run fully as my swing trade while I do the scalping.
as set to 1:2 return only need 50% in rate to be profitable . Issue is confidence using such a tool but people like pip farm have given me confidence to run it fully live. I will promise myself to do this . Always trying to improve why I like coming here for inspiration .

Are you referring to ... Risk2Reward1 = R2R and %W = 0,85 ... that is equal @ profitfactor = 2,8 ( good ) ?

Yes correct . 1:2 return stop loss 50 , profit 100 running at 85% . Very good double an account in month at those figures. So like Said will run it fully live. Not cut it short my problem live. 10 ish or so was referring to the time of signal .

SL 100 , TP 50 = R2R and %W85 ... PF=(0,85)/(0,15)*(0,5)=2,8 (good) but ... SL 50, TP 100 = R1R2 and %W85 ... PF=(0,85)/(0,15)*2= 11 (great ! )

50 (2%) or 100 (risk 1% of capital) trades to get that ProfitFactor ...

P.S.
20 working days = 2 or 3 trades (5 trades) per day ...

Which markets are you testing (in Demo)? Commodities, Indices, Forex?

Running at 3% loss max and 6% win . So at 6% win only need 20 trades double account that's what it currently does.
designed for dax ran on tester , demo to confirm And now will run live .

If I'm not mistaken, are you risking 0.5% of the capital at trade?
