The problem is though, that in my opinion the best traders have some kind of an edge exploited by an algorithm without much discretion or none at all.
And if they claim to be profitable traders (which they don't need since their ego is already good due to their profitability), they will be faced with an option to either prove it with a trade explorer, or be ridiculed.
Their algorithm might be so genius that its simple to the point that anyone could easily reverse engineer it.
However based on my knowledge (which makes my opinion biased) the best traders are possibly Peter Crowns, and CrucialPoint. I also suspect people who hanged around them while they were still active in the forums to be profitable.

I also believe that there are more chances that a legit profitable trader will pretend to not be one, than a losing trader will claim to be profitable (either for ego boosting or following the advice "avoid loses", he will have a perfect risk reward if he is not risking any money trading, but earns his money from selling education).

The fake gurus have created a cult that one must blindly believe in his profitability (just like in god) or go to hell.
Try asking some of those gurus on their threads about their statements. Best case scenario you would be put in to an ignore list, but most likely his weaponised with b.s. followers will attack you from all directions and try their best to make it as personal as possible. I mean they're frustrated cause their subconscious mind is telling them that they are fooled but they resist it. And they seek every opportunity to unleash their anger on anyone questioning the authority of their god.

I believe Davit (his thread: Pivot Trading with TDI), and Mr.Pip (Ratios and harmonics, a different way to trade) are probably two good examples of excellent traders here on FF. SalvatoreD and Dennis 1468 also seem like they could be legit.
None of these 4 is showing their TE, or MyFxBook, or Darwinex, how do you know they are really good trader?

I also think hllmy83 is a good trader. In fact, I am subscribed to him.
He is NOT showing his MyFxBook since several weeks ago.
He was showing his TE, but stoped doing it. But I think he will show it again soon.
BTW, he is from Malaysia, living in USA.

I understand your view, but there are other views. I wouldn't share my history. Why would I do it. Only to prove my right on FF
I am not a millionaire, but I wouldn't meddle with myfxbook or other sites only to show proof to some avatar on a forum. And I think there are others as well.

I would share it to show some pattern, strange behaviour, for cooperation, research, but not for only proving that I am successful or I am not.
Only my scepticism keep me from being an atheist. Be sceptic ever.

it's true, you don't have to prove shit to people here. BUT, if you took the effort to post something along the lines of "i'm profitable" or "i'm a full time trader" "i make this much in such and such timeframe", then yes you DO need to show it if asked. otherwise why post such nonsense...just go with your day and don't post. i think people who do this and then get offended for proof, are just forum trolls and we need to get rid of them...

i don't consider myself a good trader, although i'm profitable. my trading is like being in a real estate agent..some months i suck..but some months i make my year, the rest of the time i just waste time and churn volume for my broker

ABSOLUTLY TRANSPARENTE: shows his TE and MyFxBook continually, without hiding anything.

Annual return: 620%. Monthly return 45.9%.

If he would sell a course to teach his system, I would pay him any price he asks (if I have enough money). But I am totally sure he will never do it (why he should? If I am making so much money, I dont need to sell course, and if my system is so profitable, better keep if for myself. And finally, it would be very painful, a terrible torture trying to teach so many foolish people who should never be trading).

LMAO are you kidding me? Why do they? For what? To appease the masses on FF? Please. I could care less who believes what about my trading abilities. As long as I am making money and can pay my bills you can believe what you want. I don't have to prove a thing to anyone. I am not selling anything or offering anything to anyone, so it makes no difference to me what you or anyone else on here think. At the same time I don't brag about my performance either because that is just as useless. Some people prefer to have their history private and that's their prerogative. Some like to advertise it and that's also their prerogative. Your judgemental condescending attitude is definitely uncalled for.
