lol obviously this is a satire strategy. once the high or low of the day is hit. if everyone knew where the high and low was we would all be living the dream.

I want to contribute to this thread and to honor Merlin. I've been around this forum in the last 8 years without a member. I enjoyed reading this, so sorry lately that parties less and less writing here, joking , sad... But I want to keep the thread afloat, I started testing this great strategy, I do slightly different from the one that offers the Merlin ( although if you consider it a deal with the bonds in his journal, perhaps something similar is ) also I will use MACD to obtain the divergence, and RSI to identify overbought and oversold, I will not use stop loss, the breakeven will be incorporated periodically. And I will add a mathematical formula to calculate where the price will be in the future. I started this last week on a live account with small money. Let's see what happens...

p.s. By the way, I tried this with a weather chart without RSI and MACD and I managed to achieve the same results as in any market

I found this thread 10 years ago, i was still at college at that time. Now married with 2 kids.

The biggest riddle is why we have to put MACD and RSI on the chart. I doubt that it is about divergence ...

descovered this thread yesterday, omg.. 6 years on this forum and dint see it.

was thinking about rules from post one, and mrhb pictures and indi..

my time is +2 gtm, so indi have set time for hi/low between 00.00 and 12.00 my broker time.
in most of the case this hi low range box (5am est-5pm est)is broken, with continuation of trend, rarely there is rsi divergence on m1 window..
but..when this signal is clear, its work perfect..
This sistem have some similar rules from my own system, who have win ratio 90% an more. This are the real banks levels, from where price react all the time, another levels are 000 levels..

EJ steel didnt react to much, iven there is a 129.000, what means 000 levels, this are tru levels of all the banks what play in forex with retail trades. The banks place theyr orders at 000 levels becouse of calculations convenience, also they work with 100-200-300 levels.
So all this mean that price will react to this levels, but not allways...
why?!
well, exist two more rules,.. i will give just one..
if we have a trendline who cross this levels, but this trendline is in trend, like in pict with EJ, the react will not be so good, this type of trendlines reduce % of react on levels with 20% . From the start this type of signals with banks levels, if price not reach from one 000 level to another 000 level 100 pips in less than 12 hours, have 50% win rate( wich means 50% chanse that this trade wil give you on react 25 pips. ..But if price rich 100 pips from 000 level to another 000 level, less than in 12 hours, this trade have win rate 80% from 100%..
so what we have here? on EJ?
simple.... 50% of chanse(we dont have in this exemple rich of 100 pips les than in 12 hours), and minus 20 % of trendline on trend... wich menas we remain with 30% win ratio for this trade.. So? we dodnt take this buy trade..

If trendline was in countertrend with price, thats give +20% to win ration of signals on banks levels.
wich mean 50%+20%=70% win ratio of trade take on reaction signal like in EJ exemple.
but, if we have countertrend line, 12 hours betwenn two 000 levels, this is 80%+20%, wich mean 100% win trade, with 50pips sl, and 25 pips tp.

This thread is obviously supposed to be a joke

but I did come across a few days ago on FF a legitimate scalping strategy [with screenshots] which showed a 99.7% win rate over like 1k trades....

perhaps some of you have come across it. If not, just know that it's out there....
