USDZAR update. It's using that Trendline, both the 100MAs on the H4 and on the daily chart as support. Wave 4 is still valid it hasn't retraced more than wave 1's high.

My view on your gbpusd chart is that, we are still in an upswing, the resistance has been tested and there seems to be a possible H&S breakout at the top. So caution needs to be exercised.

can you confirm - if you use any of the "new" Elliott solutions - that we made a topping pattern in the EURUSD ?
It would complete the count (wave "W") since the low of beginning of 2017.

Yes, EURUSD revised wave count :

It's been a corrective advance since the low of January 2017 low.

From preceding wave form, it's assumed this is a wave c (gray) advance, thus treating it as an ending diagonal 3-3-3-3-3 wave c.

If this ED wave count remains valid, expect a significant corrective a-b-c drop (on daily time frame) towards 1.0500 ......... soon.

thanks for your reply - i doubt your EURUSD outlook is correct.
We will not see quotes below the parity.

From your chart, you're using Harmonic EW which count all waves as threes, very different from EW.
No comments on that, since I don't use it.

Elliot waves always have 2 possibilities. While we may be pretty sure of our wavecount, its always good to keep in perspective the other side too.

i don`t use Harmonic EW - i have counted wave "c" of wave "W" as Ending Diagonal.
Wave "W" is the 1st part of wave "IV"

The Dollar-Index comfirmes the EURUSD considerations.
Both elliott counts use the Delta cycle counts for different times frames.

Here is the chart I posted yesterday. The two red arrows are both my entries, of course price continued bullish until it finally dropped approx. 100 pips to my little "v?" icon. Instead of one nice sizeable win, I have two losses and a missed opportunity.

In terms of Elliot Wave counts, what canI do to increase my odds and avoid entries that are pre-mature. Maybe upcoming news played a role.

Any feedback? Thank you.
