Hi Retrogue, I didn't take this trade short as I wasn't around but I wouldn't have taken it due to the bollingers being tight and Romar out of trading area. I am slightly confused by the slider rule as if you look back through 2h chart history, all the signs were there for a turn down? on the opening candle ( the one with the second parabolic after the flip ), purple has clearly crossed EMA and smooth is above purple for the down ( as in an uptrend has smooth below purple )? please someone help clarify this as its fundamental! cheers Derek

It was an ema slider which the market changed back to go up above the slider. There is a rule for an entry in this scenario. I cant check my files now as im at work but Im pretty sure it involves smooth.

trade evaluation. Patience was the key for this one, something that i don't normally have if i miss the 7.00am GMT candle (the old me)
making my plan i wanted to go short off resistance as both H2 and H1 were strong down trend. the 7.00 am candle opened wasnt quite at purple so i didnt take it (i thought it was in no mans land and the Parabolic flip wasnt set in stone yet!)
watched market drop without me and was quite disappointed, walked away in a huff and decided to come back and take another look. saw if i got a retrace to purple just above 61.8 fib i would have approx. 45 pips to Romar support and the lower BB which hadn't been hit yet! also Daily Smooth.
patiently waited and went in on the purple hit with a 40/40 trade and 45 pips yet to Romar and lower BB
Miss Yellen may have helped but the market was also saying down!!!

Hi Retrogue,

I myself took the same short trade and very confused about this EMA slider as i think im missing something quite significant,

Could you possible point out on the image where the EMA slider is?

Look at the moment white and smooth crossed. What was ema and purple doing in this moment?

The major problem is not reading everything. I have spent some major time in writing up tutorials and other means of every single scenario you can even possibly think of. Your question had been answered on this thread; and all you need to do is spend YOUR TIME in reading and learning.

First time poster here. Much appreciation for the efforts.

I also have confusion with defining the slider. I understood it to be when EMA does not cross purple or the others, and it stays as support in the continuing uptrend and vice-versa. In the image above with the short that was a mistake, we have white crossing purple and then smooth crossing purple within a bar, then the PSAR flipped, and EMA goes on to cross purple, white, and smooth with PSAR as resistance.

I understand daily bounced off purple and also the 2h SAR attached at the bottom of the recent candle which does not go with a short, put in terms of the four horsemen, how is this a slider when the EMA crossed the others?

Hello All! What a great System, Thread and Teacher we have thank you to everyone!

I believe as a group we can work out this system.

I would like to start with this post #10423 Dana says " If you had waited with patience for the Parabolic hit you would had your trade and the reason is because the Daily is still up." Ok so at this point we are long 40/40, so to enter a short before our long trade ended doesn't make sense RIGHT?

Also the spread was high at said short entry as well as BB were turned in (start of consolidation) 2 signals

After the DT we had, Dana said "it is common to go strait into range after an uptrend when ROMAR is out of the BB"
And in range we trade from top to bottom and bottom to top not the middle.

The next entry was long off purple after the Parabolic flipped back up

Anyone have anything to add Please do so

You joined on July 2nd and made your first post on this thread and came on talking about working out this system as a group. So let's get you on the right foot. The Paradox is set for all trade scenarios going north, going south, going sideways, sliders, ranging, support and resistance; and trend for each of the scenarios. This means there is nothing to work out on the Paradox.

BUT -

What does need to be work out is THE RULES for each scenario as a group. Once the rules are applied then you become an 80+ % winning trader. And becoming an 80% winner means you have to know ALL THE RULES OF TRADING THE PARADOX FOR EACH SCENARIO. If the rules are not applied then failure is the root of your efforts..

Understood sir, thank you for your patience - after digesting a huge amount of reading and checking charts I was sure that with H2 Romar out of the trading zone, then the ranging within the BB's would be top to bottom and subject to Parabolic flips during that time, and those flips would be strong between the BB's - I didn't recognise any type of slider as I have witnessed before at the time of my trade.......so quite simply I was wrong, and now I need to understand exactly why I was wrong.

I believe my problem is recognising which scenario we are in. I will revert to my notes again, and the pdf's and try and make this as logical to myself as I can, then maybe I have a chance of achieving what I believe I can achieve.

Let's move on..

Dear Dana and senior traders,

Last evening I saw on the 2H, the fibo drawn not from the bottom of previous DB low, but from another candle. Is this because the DB low is not in the display range ?

Is my set up wrong ?

Much appreciate any explanation.

Hello guys, I have some problems with the daily SAR on my chart. SAR appeared on the current daily candle at 129.034, around 6 hours ago, after some hours the SAR disappeared. This is so strange, and its the 2nd time i'm seeing this in recent times. Is the SAR still there? Who else had this problem? Is it normal? I'm curious

Do you have the new SAR? It's in the very first post edited by Dana.

The fibo flips with either a new high or low with the 39 candles or at the 61.8 or 23.6 because of a trailing high or low. This rule has been explained many times.
The quieter you become, the more that you can hear.
