Wave b orange done. Now resume medium-term trend down on c towards 1.1290.
Looking for setup on retracement.

You are still confronting all elliotticians who use the original rules of the Elliott Wave Theory:
An interaction of wave "i" and "iv" must be changed to a "corrective" count.

Are your rules called "skyhok Elliott Wave Special" ?

You are right that the count from 29 June top is corrective, being a 5 waves 3-3-3-3-3 wave (c) blue.

There's nothing confrontative about it, just a development from traditional Elliott Wave 3-3-5 (a)-(b)-(c) corrective pattern.

Except that this wave iv blue correction is a running correction with a retracing wave (b), according to ** 'New Elliott Wave Rule'.
And it's working fine.

I have a daily count and it's a wild card.
It's potentially in the expanding ranges of an expanding diagonal wave c yellow.

Hi skyhok,
I know you following new EW rules
In Every 5th Wave and in Every C Wave, the 4th Wave WILL have a B Wave
which will set New Trend Price Territory.

At least on previous posts many of C are expanding diagonal - regarless of wave degree
May be i'm wrong , but it seems feature of motive wave C is often ED and it seldom appears impulse ,isnt it?

C waves are 5 waves either:
1. impulse waves or
2. ending diagonals.

While ending diagonals can be either:
1. converging (wedge) or
2. expanding

Not so much of my preferred way of always counting wave C as expanding ED.


It's when one encounter a SHORT CORRECTIVE wave 1 after the completion of a wave B, an impulse wave would NOT be expected, but most likely, the developing of an expanding diagonal wave C.

If it's a relatively long corrective wave 1 ......... a converging diagonal.

For the Big Picture: Regardless which Elliott rules you are using:

As long as the Dollar Index pattern since the high at 104 is not finished yet, the EURUSD will go to the upside. Look for LTD-11 Low (black) of the Dollar Index.

How about making a new thread for your New EW technique? Because the charts you post have nothing to do with EW.

Update on EURJPY : I think wave 3 (red) was completed by a failed fifth wave pattern(blue). I also think if price breaks that trend line it will confirm wave 5(Blue & Red)
