From what I have gathered so far from FPA, FF members Pepperstone seems stands out among the best. Same with Global Prime and Darwinex. These ones don't seem to be greedy.

I do agree with some of you that Pepperstone is one of the best and it is not
complicated, easy and straightforward .... However the Mt4 Platform
has been playing a bit since the last Mt4 update and eventually yesterday stopped working
saying .... Common error ....
Ok never mind that, so i tried to open a new account but no chance... it does not let you open a new account on demo 2.. 1 ,,,
Is this happening to someone else too ?
News found that Pepperstone suspends account in the Uk ? but that was Feb News, not sure if that has happened today too ?

works well but it does get my fan going on my mac. Clearly it uses a lot more of the Mac than it would on a PC. Nowadays I use a VPS so it doesn't matter.

agree,

this is unrelated (pretty much) to the brokers anyway ..

MT4 is just not designed for MAC. but the bundle pepperstone does provide works okay ..
however a VPS does a far better job.

When I was trading my strategy last Friday on news using MT4, I was disconnected for 15-20 seconds (nevermind because I earned double target , but it could be the opposite!), and then I froze again for 15 seconds even though my internet was wired and every other website was working. I asked the support but they told me that its not a server problem. They asked if I could switch to their webtrader. This never happened to me before, so it got me wondering.

Anyone had this problem before?

My Pepperstone chart is not working for 20 minutes now. Seems they are having technical issues and are aware of it. So annoying 20 minutes? Geez. Anyone else?

I wonder what this spike is from Pepperstone. Okay, it happened at rollover, some spike is understandable, but 40 pips?

IC's spike falls right between your 2 broker examples by the size of the spike.
Tonight actually i was "lucky" to observe it live, had some GU trade on from pre-rollover...all i can tell that it was not tradeable only spread widening spike, probably broker dependent what extent they wanted to hit SLs?
too bad that even 15 pips beyond my TP my trades just wont close, LOL, like 30 pips widened spreads or so vs the usual >1 pip!
the least to say was strange.

my second broker had an even larger spike with bottom all the way down to 1.2860!
there is always, always another trade!!

Hey Jack!

Yes, it's all good as far as a few years passed on.
I still will advise you to use your Timemachine backup, shuold something go wrong, but other then that, smoth as (peanut) butter!

Hello everybody,

I have a problem with pepperstone i want to discuss about. My most profitable trading strategy is an mix of automated trading and manual trading.
Now i was on vocation when pepperstone announced moving accounts under UK regulatory, and i have 2 weeks until my accounts go to close only mode and 2 weeks more then account will be closed.
This colud not happen in worst time. I had large amount of positions open when they switched my account to close only mode, so i cant adjust or add hedging positions. Tomorrw they will close my account and the loss is going to be about 70-80%. I talked whit pepperstone and they threw a lot of points out of user agreement and basically told me they can close whatever they want whenever they want. Is there anything do to in this situation?
