a good strategy would indeed be very profitable, for it when we have not been up strategic capabilities can do in learning in a demo account, because the demo account will be able to train to become even better psychological trading and how the trading could be more focused again

Hi, I'm still a newbie and this is my first post on FF.


But I consider the Trading Made Simple (TMS) created by eelfranz a good strategy.

It is a trend-following method, so the key is we have to learn to identify the market type: Trending, Sideways wide range or Sideways narrow range.

Besides reading that thread, there are still experienced members who are willing to help you to learn more important aspects of trading like Money Management.

To conclude I think to succed in this business, it doesn't depend on the strategy but the trader himself.

I trade full time in a prop shop and from my experience traders who really have real profitable trading methods don't share them. My manager told me that there are some traders in my prop shop who are consistently profitable on a MONTHLY BASIS for years. Before they increase their trading size they are relatively helpful to other fellow traders but once they are sure about their trading edge and increase their trading size, they are much more secretive about their trading methodologies, not to mention that they absolutely won't reveal even some of their entries and exits. I don't blame them because imagine that you are trading full time and your method has a real edge and your living depends on it, will you risk sharing it thus inviting competition and reduce your edge? Mostly like not. People are much smarter nowadays with access to information everywhere and no matter how large the market is, opportunities do get exhausted much faster than, say 10 years ago and when too many people act on the same edge with similar concept, its advantage is diminished or it will invite the BIG players to stop hunt more often as they don't want so many people to be on the same side as them.

But some of my fellow traders do share and discuss their trading methods from time to time but almost of them are only barely or mildly profitable and when your living does not fully depend on it yet, or if they are not sure if their methods do have a real edge, it's easier to do share them.

ideas in running the trading that much, and I know to be successful it sure must strive in learning to do, because we are always trying to learn will definitely improve skill trading skills to be better again, dependence on the profit consistently get with own skill maximum capability

In order to our trading experience basically we traders select our trading strategies. My trading career for ensuring a profitable trading strategy, I use my all trading approaches in demo trading to see the performance how it works. This techniques always helps me to select a profitable trading strategy .

From my first day of trading I like to use scalping for all time due to getting profit instantly, but sometimes it causes a great losses , but there is no trading strategy without scalping that brings profit in a short time.

strategy will be profitable if the maximum is already owned, for me it is always to try to learn as possible in a demo account to hone knowledge and trading skills to become better and better able to understand forex working properly and also profitable

According to me , By using any kinds of trading strategy you can be profitable , if there is real money mangling plan , otherwise that’s not possible at all to make profit with great consistency despite of having most powerful trading strategy.

From all scalping is really profitable that brings profit very rapidly than other trading techniques.
But mostly brokers don’t allows trading concept as this.
so, the traders who are particularly scalpers have to choose the broker
which permits scalping including lowest trading spreads as well minimum margin requirements.

The best part of the forex strategy is money management –make sure every time you trade , you don’t risk more than 2-3% of you account otherwise you will break your account pretty soon. I learned that lesson from my own experience.

I started my trading with indicators based strategies! But now I am trading with only Price Action trading as my technical analysis! Besides, I use news analysis during high voltage news session! I seem, only indicator based strategies are valueless!

According to me , there is no real profitable trading strategies until making a most powerful money managing approach. So, first of all be concern how to manage money in Forex trading if you want to get maximal result by your strategies.

We can’t avoid the importance of MM its true. But getting good result by money management is not always possible. We have to practice more and more in demo account , otherwise the maximal result will not come out at all despite of good money management.

Best strategy is the strategy that works for you. The strategy that works for you may not work for me. Every body sees the market differently. For some people it's 5+5= 10 and for some people it is 8+2= 10. Try to understand the market. Read charts everyday. You will find the market sentiment. Start with a single pair.
