Hi Avail,

After V is formed, do you wait for the new candle to break the high (buy scenario) of the previous candle?

Hows the winning ratio so far? I encountered quite a few negative ones already.

The candle break confirms the entry.
I only have a small sample of data but so far the R:R is keeping me ahead.
Trading in line with the impulsive moves / structure helps as the R:R will keep you in pips.
I'm not the best at explaining so hopefully the attached chart helps.

Each one would have paid a 1:3

Keep an eye on Landline and Sam, they have much more experience than myself.

one quick question please
If a stop loss is hit then we should enter a trade right away on that opposite direction or wait for next signal

depending on your risk apetite , trading targets and market sentiment , trading hours etc ...there are really many factors and you are the best person to answer this question.

But in short:-

Conservative approach - wait for next signal
Aggressive approach - enter in opposite direction ( even two contracts or double size )

Hi All,

I made a quick indi for painting rectangles on the points of interest.

Maybe we can use 2 or 3 time frames to align with each other.

eg in the attached image I used a Weekly, a daily and a 4h chart and when they all align we could have a possible good entry.

It looks like maybe 3 or 4 traders here have produced and posted good results consistently using the daily V entry method. or their slight variation of it which is good.

Rather than me talk, here's a very basic question that needs thinking about.

Will you realistically be able to make a living from it, and if not....why not?

It isn't a trick question, but intended instead for you to ponder where any foreseeable preventions to the question may exist.

I'll await any interesting comments before adding mine.

Hi Landline,

Thanks for your question , for me personally I can easily say that I will not make a living from this method alone , but I can use it comfortably along with other strategies / analysis to highlight possible entry points or reversal areas that can assist me become a better trader.

I think that this market needs flexibility , knowledge and most important psychological control over fear & greed so depending on your personal circumstances and account size the "why not" can be discussed.

Thanks for honestly replying Sam, your comments are correct in all that you said

Those that have posted set ups have demonstrated their capability of finding an entry, so well done.

Before I say more, there is 1 common denominator illustrated by everyone on their charts and their results. It is quite obvious to me, and again, rather than spell it out, I wonder whether it is obvious to yourself and the other viewers.....any comments are welcome

Nope.... but it's a fair point nonetheless.

I can't recall whether the original video covered it tbh....but my illustrated trades certainly did and is crucial to success.
