Well after trying to learn MLQ4 and browsing forums for ideas I'm appealing to the community of much better programmers for some assistance because I just don't get how to write a custom indicator.
What I'd like is an indicator based upon a standard RSI calculation but tweaked in the following way:
I'd like to calculate two moving averages of the RSI and then calculate the ratio between the two moving averages and display ratio result as the indicator value.
So for example..
Assume the RSI(10) value is currently 60.294.
Assume the 20 period simple moving average of the RSI value is 42.1318 and the 50 period simple moving average of the RSI value is 51.5318.
I'd like an indicator that figures out those values then does the following:
Small SMA value / Large SMA value * 100
So in this case the calculated value would be 81.75.
The calculated result is what I'd like plotted in the indicator window.
If there is somebody out there willing to take a stab at this I'd sure appreciate it.
Appreciate your time reading this!
