Hello fellow traders. I've been messing around with forex off and on for a few years, and now have a good system that I'm ready to go all in on. My problem is that I've always used 200:1 on my demo account. Now I am having to take 50:1 due to where I live. Silly me. Anyways, in order to cut short the time of spending days or weeks trying to get this right, I'll just ask here....
Example: starting with an account balance of $1500, I want to wager 5% on 60 pips to stop loss. So .05 x 1500 = $75. Then 75 / 60 = 1.25.
Rounding up, the number I enter in my order is .13.
Is there a difference in the math, taking the leverage down from 200:1 to 50:1?
Thanks for taking your time
