I wish i lived next door to IBFX right now, and maybe owned some firearms... something simple, High rate of fire, quick reload, low recoil, VERY large magazine capacity, palladium barrels and a Yellow smiley face T-shirt, which i will be wearing as a symbol of my love towards them during my short lived visitation.

Have you tried using the regular mini accounts server 4 not the make-shift one? My past chart bars started working when I switched back to the downloaded server using the method explained in post #30.

The zip file below contains the new server file for mini server 4. This is the one that is downloaded from IBFX. The platform creates a second one once you use this one the first time.

EDIT - In response to emails and PMs I have received I decided to remove the zip file. Use the download link in Verto' post #46. Sorry if I made this confusing by posting a server file that was the same as the prior link.

Two other things:
1st. - If you are trading on a demo you do not need this file. If your server was not changed you do not need this file.

2nd. - Once you download the server file it goes in the config folder which is under the platform folder. I posted my experience in post #30 which also shows where the file is stored on my computer, a default location for IBFX.

I have been chatting with IBFX they have just reset the server and it should work (invalid acct error)

you may still need to manually install the link listed in this thread(Install it as if you were installign a EXPERT or INDICATOR but put it in the CONFIG folder) but after that is letting me into my accts and also doing the same for my inverstor passwords. using their server 4 that is in the drop down options no need to type in the shorter code to get it to work now.


as for the Charts Data I was told they will do a server restart soon to bring data back so lets hope they don't screw it all up again!

hope everyone is getting this fixed!

made an system recovery...startet ibfx again but had to use mt4-04.ibfx.com:443 seems to work..even have past data...

but guess ill wait taking any positions..lets see how it goes with you first

I've just got past data....all charts are fine now and I can modify my current trade so fingers crossed....

odd i have my old setup....but in interbank..folder there is no template files...and so.....wonder where those are and why it works....almost affraid of closing it again..if they disseaper

I found a way that seems to work. Using windows explorer I moved all server files to a backup folder. Then I downloaded IBFX's server file again from their web site. After I started the platform it created a second server file. I then closed the platform and moved the server file I had just downloaded to the backup folder leaving only the one server file the platform created. It seems to work fine. i did this and it works fine. I have all data and i can connect, reconnect and modify trades.
But i am really bad humored about IBFX. Earlier closed all my positions (i was in a loss) cause my EA wasn t able to manage the trades and i was afraid of having more significant losses.
It seems this guys al IBFX are really making an effort to loose clients ... , and they are making it very well.

Has anyone else inquired about when they will have the wireless platform updated with the new server? They guy I talked to last night told me it could be a week! I cannot believe that they didn't have all of this ready to migrate over at the same time. I'll be looking for another broker. This is unacceptable.

If anyone still has problems with chart data

Right click and choose 'Refresh' , that fixes the problem
