And my second question is...

From the color chart, the ADP NFP is not as volatile as the NFP?

Hilarious!

Does anyone know if the ADP NFP is a good indicator to what the actual NFP numbers will be on Friday?

I'm just kidding. My alma mater had their own problems with Texas Tech but we managed to pull it out.

Needless to say, I really enjoyed the Rose Bowl last year.

Will be interesting to see if traders have forgiven this report yet. I would think that it will not take much to hurt the dollar further.

it is to early to judge but it gives strength to the consensus of 130,00 4.6%

I have not had much time this week, the thing that caused the confusion last month was due to a revision, but has there been another revision since and will this effect this months figures ie have a shock 260,000 then 4.6% resulting in a whipsaw.

the stork bought me a present last week (baby boy), and i am very tired, could have even dreamt it, thoughts/corrections appreciated

i currently have no open positions... they all TPed at a low 9020 .. so 4 pips is still a good trade nonetheless.

still good to cover the cost of energy for the whole month

This video is a couple of years old but it's still a very insightful explanation of the relationship between the two reports. It also goes a long way in explaining what a heap of bullshit the NFP number is when you consider the margin for error in the BLS sampling process.
