Hello, is anyone here trading forex options (either exotic 'one touch', etc. or plain vanilla options 'call/puts')?

I have been trading forex spot and am exploring the options side of forex. Please let me know if you trade them. If you have any resources (online or books) please also let me know.

Thank you,

Kristoph

I have demo'ed Saxo Bank's interface, as they offer European options...

Options is the way to go in Forex. You set the expiration. You set the strike.

I know a guy that has his carry trade and then writes naked calls and puts. He can set his expiration to whatever... and take advantage of time decay and everything...

Mr Trend,

Thanks for the reply. I'm also demoing Saxobank and their OTC options. I talked to my representative and he said Saxo will offer exotics in Q1 next year. Anyway, I would like to learn more about forex options.

So you recommend letting options go to expiry instead of buying and selling ? Can you give me some details on your techniques/time periods, etc.?

I am pretty experienced in spot trading, but not options (I do have a lot of "book knowledge" on options, so I can understand what you're talking about.
