Tutorial on spotting a curve fitted EA? (.HST)

is there a tutoriel out there on finding if an EA is curve fitted to a specific pair, by changing the history filename (.hst) ?

i don't want to do stuff that would damage my MT4 and tick data (i use Tickstory)
