Hello everyone,

I have been lurking here for a while, but just recently created my account. I have a question about the 1 hour Tunnel Trading method:

I can get the 144 and 169 EMAs plotted, but I would like to also plot the outer fib lines like on the Vegas Currency Daily. How can I do that? Can I use the Vegas Currency Daily Indicators on the 1 hour chart? Will that work? Or can someone tell me how to custom create the indicator in.mq4 so I can make my own?

Thanks in advance...

Tommy C, I don't think anyone has developed a plugin for the 1 hour (or 4 hour) charts yet for MetaTrader. You can add your own however. Go to your 1 hour chart and right click on either the 169 or 144 ema lines. Go to properties, level tap, click "add". If your on the 144 properties dialog box (today's price action) you will only need to put the fib lines you want. If your on the 169 dialog box you will need to subtract, meaning put a "-" sign in front of the fib number you want. Select the color and style you want and that's it. The lines will follow the ema lines just like on the VWB one day method.

Yes there is!!

Go to www.TunnelTrading.com .

Vegas and his team have created excellent plug-ins for MT4.

...and all this time I didn't realise you could add fibs lines manually like that!! I'd written my own indicators etc!!

I've gone to this web site via all three of my browsers and cannot get in (other than the email window). Even though I can make my own fib lines on the 1 hour it would be nice to have the plugin setup for that chart.
Thanks mate!

Here you go guys.

I have no problems accessing the tunnel website.

When you attach the 1 Hr indicator to different pairs, you have to adjust the risk model for each pair to get the fib levels to line up properly.

Sorry C1ro

That´s is the original 1 hour document. Maybe you´re confusing with 4 hour document or daily document.

Thanks for ur attention.. But I read the tunnel method document for 1H. But the FF Tunnel Chart gave me more lines. They are 5 lines. But when I read the document we are advised to use the 144, 169 and 12 ema. It's completely different and I dont know what is right

Thanks!!

I have read all the articles and I find them to be contradictory. In one article it talks about 144 and 169 for channel and in another it is 24, 28! which one is correct? the indicator uses 24, 28!

I think you're all getting mixed up with the various tunnel models.

1 hour tunnel model (1 hour chart only)
144 EMA, 169 EMA, 12 EMA (filter)

4 hour tunnel model (this uses both the 4 hour and weekly charts)
4 hour chart settings
8 SMA (HL/2), 55 SMA (close)

weekly chart settings
21 EMA (HL/2), 5 SMA (HL/2)

Vegas Wealth Builder (uses the daily chart only)
Vegas_Currency_Daily indicator
The indicator for this model uses 24 EMA and 28 EMA as the tunnel. It's different than the 1 hour tunnel because of the daily timeframe.

Extra information for the above settings and how to use each model can be found by using the site navigation tool on the left. Go to...

I strongly suggest reading through the "Lost in the Tunnel" and the "Vegas Wealth Builder Part 1,2 and 3" threads. This is the best way to understand the advantages and disadvantages of each model. Remember, don't just follow the model, understand the concept behind it and why it works. What will make you money is executing each model CORRECTLY.

Hope this helps,
