Hi there,

Does anyone have or perhaps know if it is possible to have an indicator that make the bid and ask lines stop at the current bar being plotted on the chart?

Hanover,

I noticed that the bid and ask lines of the indicator match the market watch window spread (which seems to be 1 pip), but not the chartīs bid and ask line (chart bid is dark grey and ask is red). What I want to say is that the chartīs bid and ask line reflects the IC Markets website spread (which right now is between 0.0 and 0.1 pip, I had to be quick to take this screenshot here).

Which one should I trust?

Hanover, I discovered why. The thing is that I opened a standard demo account, which has no commission but a spread of 1 pip. Due to a technical limitation, the bid ask lines on the chart reflects the spread of the RAW accounts (the raw accounts are the ones with tight spreads and with commission). So on a standard account, you should consider the market watch spread. I have opened a raw account and now the indicator is working perfectly as I wanted!!

Do you happen to have a MT5 version of this indicator too? If you get me the .mq4 file I can try compile one, and also add an option to choose the ask color in the MT4 indicator, as of now the same color applies to both lines.

Thanks

Indicator was originally written in 2009 before commissions or MT5 existed. I've never bothered to install MT5.

MQ4 is attached but it's so old that I'm not sure if it will compile properly on the latest MT4 builds. If you get compile errors you could try this.
