Pardon me asking, but as I know, there is no Monthly GDP but Quarterly.
YET! I see GDP numbers published every month..
So I ask, why monthly releases when it is supposedly for a quarter?
Is it because:
They release fresh GDP every 3 months covering the last 3 month
Then they Revise it a month later
Then comes a Final GDP for that 3 months?
If that is the case, then only the Initial GDP release is significant then! ie, revisions and final revisions should poise not much of importance since we already know what happened to it the last month... ie, Last July US GDP, it moved the currency wildly YET in August and September, it did not move much at all.
Therefore, this coming Octobers US GDP number, it shuld move USD if it comes higher or lower...
Please correct me if I understood it wrong.
Thanks!
