Hey can any coder add alerts to this indicator and make it mtf as well? its pretty good doesnt repaint blink during signal! UPDATED THIS SHOULD SHOW ON CHART PLEASE ADD ALERT AND MTF AND ATTACH

Mike, as an aside from the main purpose of your thread, can you give me some guidance on how you trade the TMA-MACD signals? Looks like a powerful indi when used on two TFs. Thanks. George

i've been actually using it trust me it doesnt repaint like you think, try it on 5 min chart

Hey George it's honesly just something im playing with but it works well. use the settings 30 for fast length, 120 slow half length and 120 again for SIG MA in the input section! set it to one time frame higher then the current timeframe your on as well

Take in consideration that the history is calculated on the bar open price but u will trade live on the Bid...i suggest you to try this indicator on volume bars chart,you will have more accurate results.

Indicator caused alerts to fire so fast that it actually sounds like a low hum. I spent half the day trying to figure out where in the HELL that noise was originating from...it was my extra set of headphones with the alert firing a gazillion times a minute...just my experience with it...

Well I don't know...I am interested in the signals...it is a very interesting indicator. I did download the version without the alerts as well. Just giving my personal experience with the alert...maybe it is something on my end...I have no idea... Not an expert with these things...

The TMA_Macd indicator is a repainter. All TMA-based indicator repaint. Doesn't mean you cannot use them. Cannot use them for visual backtest, because what you are looking at has repainted.
