First of all, I'd like to thank this forum and all of the individuals that have very generously contributed their info!!!
I really appreciate the generally positive and supportive tone of most of the participants (the exceptions to this know who they are ).
I'd like to give back a little...
I am really surprised at how little folks in this forum talk of using multiple time frames - "MTF's". In my experience, using MTF's is imperative.
I am putting together a post for a system that I call "Maximus". It is a trend following scalping system, arguably 100% mechanical. Generally the target is 20 pips, but the signals often merit holding a portion of the position for a larger target.
Here are a few images of the 100% mechanical entries. In the image named "short", short entries (magenta arrows) are taken at the Down arrows. For the file named "long", the opposite is true. Entries (the arrows) are NEVER taken counter trend.
If there's any interest in Maximus, I will provide all details of this MTF trend following system along with my personal Metatrader templates and a full description. FYI: These templates can be used to ID HP ("High Probability" Mouteki/Sidus/Bago set ups as well).
