DislikedWow thanks Macman. I'd love to understand all these codes, but it's like reading chinese to me! If ever you've got some time (I don't want to bother you) to change the code for all the Nanningbob 4H trading system user, here are the 2 EAs Bob published.
Thanks a lot.Ignored
DislikedThese two files are identical (Steve's MPTM) except one is set to manage all trades and the other is set to manage just the trades of the pair you have the MPTM running on.
Also they are NOT set for 5 digit brokers unless you want a BE of 2 pips with a jumping stop of 3 pips?
IMHO it is essential to read and understand the MPTM user guide (attached) as it looks like your problem is simply not using the correct settings. If you still have problems the fix for 6 digits can be added but it looks like it is not necessary.
Best of luck ...Ignored
DislikedSteve,
As a junior member I cant post in you swing forum so I will post here. I know c++ so mql was easy to pick up in the past week.
I had a chance to look at and test the SMT. The closure code you have in there are causing whipsaws before you can get out of the spread (most of the time) Also I think you are sending trades in the opposite direction from the guy who created the fractal. So I ran a test using 15m/1h by running unchanged SMT with default settings as well a removing the closure code then a third without closure code and switching...Ignored
DislikedHi Macman,
I am currently using MPTM on all my trades but it comes to the majors pairs which are quoted with 6 digits like EUR/USD (1.33xxx), MPTM sends loads of alerts because it doesn't understand "BE of 2 pips with a jumping stop of 3 pips". I would need it to recognise the 6 digits and adapt the setting of TP and BE.
Would you be so kind to modify the code in order for me (and other 6 digits traders) to use this fantastic EA with all my currencies?
Thanks a lot Macman!Ignored

DislikedSteve,
Don't give it a second thought
FXPro is a 5 digit broker (no different to Alpari UK) - this from their web site:
Prices
We quote the major currency pairs with a fifth digit, allowing clients to profit from smaller price movements. We monitor the prices we provide, compare them with the rest of the market participants and ensure that they are always competitive.

A so called 5 digit broker quotes 5 digits after the decimal point & 3 digits after the decimal point on JPY pairs.
You do not need any changes to the mptm code - you do however need to understand that using a 5 digit broker means adding a zero to inputs referring to prices.Ignored
DislikedMine still keeps staring at my trades, doing nothing (even though I have set it to "manage all" and trailing stop, tried many values, doesn't seem to make a difference).
Meanwhile it's still spamming my experts tab with:
"Multi Purpose Trade Manager, GBPUSD,H1: Unknown mode 4 for MarketInfo"
Suggestions anyone?Ignored
